Also, if you level E 3x, you can get rid of morg's shield with the magic damage of the auto. So you can auto then hook after fllay. Unless she level her shield up, but they never do, because they focus their Q and W first.
i didn´t knew, but even without knowing i max e first vs her because I know that i will need more damage and she will inutilize my hook most of the time
This can sometimes take a couple autos and gives the shielded target time to escape via dashes or flash. Generally I take 3 levels in e first for the lane poke but vs morg I specifically max q as the damage from his hook will break the shield. They won't take the cc but it allows you to engage with ult and e without giving them a chance to escape. Ultimately it's up to preference but when the adc has dashes maxing q, engaging, then using flay to cancel their dash is the more reliable option imo.
Jokes on you. Every time I play Morgana, I take a careful look at the enemy, and then level my E accordingly. My Q has a minimum of 2s and a hitbox that is disgusting, so it is not a big sacrifice.
@@VegaIllusion Putting levels into your shield is a good idea against thresh but it does decrease your damage. Funny enough though, I don't max Q when I play morg as the W damage is too nice for winning fights.
Your tips against morgana make little sense but the rest was good. Standing behind minions allowes her to puch harder, get money from sup item and get less cd on her w. Also blackshield almost can't be baited because your animation takes have a second and hers is instant.
I got 1.3m mastery on thresh, the difficulty seemed off for me, I'd say Lulu is the hardest for me personally since i always get poked too much through her E on minion + Q combo, leona is the easiest matchup and morgana is medium remember most people who pick morgana against thresh is because they think they'll be good with the shield and they usually don't pick morgana (aka they only use it with hook champs probably) so its easier to bait their Q, make it seem like youre gonna hook the adc and hook her or vice versa, plus you can flash + E towards you with Glacial Augment for an engage, and if you have enough damage you wont even need to land your Q since morgana is quite squishy :)
Nah, the vid isn't really that great tbh. It seems like they just copied tips from other sources without knowing the champ. People trying to learn thresh can do better elsewhere.
Nah. Thresh's lantern gives a free out after a blitz hook. Yeah they'll still take damage during the cc but generally can escape what would normally be certain death. Between the two it mostly comes down to who gets ahead.
@junova Blitz is favoured in this matchup because of the Death Sentence - Rocket Grab interaction. Therefore, he is a common ban on even in pro play if thresh is locked in
you can pretty much understand when blitz will use its q. Just synchronize your q with his q and if he manages to hook you or your adc, he wont be able to use its E.
started in silver got to master with thresh only hes fine in low elo if you have good game awareness. I guess he's better when you're at a lower rank that you shouldn't be in because you can outplay people better
Actually Thresh is an excellent champion to play in low elo, low elo players aren't bad because they can't play a hard champion the right way, but because they suck in macro game
@@caiocesar4045 The issue is Thresh is very reliant on his team. Low elo doesn't tend to listen to support shot calls and their reactions following up on his engages / peel is generally slower making his kit (which is objectively the best at manipulating positions in fights) a lot less meaningful.
A good example is peeling leo's xeneth blade. You can peel it every time but if your adc is slow to click to move again once the cc ends leo will just walk up and q your adc anyways. Not much a good thresh can do about that whereas many other supports like brand, blitz, zyra, etc don't have these sort of worries.

Holy shit this is a life saver ty

Yeah... This is a decent video for beginners but doesn't seem to be written by someone with in-depth knowledge of the champ.

5 Quick Tips & Tricks to Climb Ranked with ADC:
auto attack
people who dislike this video are adc mains who get silver thresh mains
why did you have to call out my silver thresh like this?? :DD

I think the hardest match up for thresh is blitzcrank

good tips!!!
6th tip is getting actual players instead of monkeys in your team
I've been playing Yuumi for this entire season and now that Riot is planning to nerf her, I'm thinking of starting playing Thresh.
Disgusting yuumi player
@@jawadmahmood2064 I'm trying to change, ok? T-T
good luck bro, thresh is hard, but its worth the time
What😂😂😂
step 1: get a keyboard
Zyra should be included in matchups over lulu
it's included on the coments about morgana
If only the first and second trick also applies in wild rift 😔
thats what im saying. why the hook make thresh face the direction first .. i dont get it
At this moment, ban Brand or morg, the free high dmg poke of brand its stupid.
tip #1 .. get used to Q delay
Get an adc ✨
You can skip this video and just watch Nickick play Thresh.
Tip 1: dont play him in low elo because it's not a carry champ
First
I just started playing this game and I have no clue what any of you are talking about. Lol
tip #6
play him on goddamn top
stop play that champ in low elo lol its not a low elo champ dont play it tip from diamond :D

Not saying you can't play him in low elo mind you, it's just harder to carry than a champ like blitz for instance even if you can play him amazingly.
