Kind of feel mixed on that since like, I’ve been in bronze for a bit and wards have saved me so much and allows me to plan plays out ahead, especially when I see someone trying to roam and gank, I ping my team to camp a bush as bait and then collapse on them, cause likely the other player is expecting the rest not to notice what they are doing

Ngl i think the first advice is the best I still overthink so much about champs and tilt in-game but I should just try to have more fun
the problem starts when you climb high enough to be out of your comfort zone, youre constantly getting outplayed and you need all your wits about you in order to maintain. thats when the fun stops and you need to give yourself every possible advantage no matter how small. lol is not a fun game by definition. its like a job. cause no matter how good or bad you are, youre always gonna gonna be reaching for new divisions outside of your comfort zone. unless youre smurfing all the time like so many losers choose to do, you will never be able to have fun, relax and take it easy. it simply isnt that kind of game.you have to overthink and be aware of a million things going on around you constantly. thats the game...if you dont do that, the fun isnt gonna last long. you can have fun while youre beasting on a bunch of noobs that are free but eventually youre gonna start getting stomped on and if you want the fun to continue you need to step your game up to the next level (cause dying isnt fun)
I'm going with cassi because I got a skin for her from the free rewards and she reminds me of medusa from smite. Her kit seems cool and not having to get boots I like. My other role i'm trying to learn is Zac support. I do ok early, I just never know when to start roaming. I don't get when I should buy different wards etc.
you should be walking between botlane and midlane after every back and from there if you cant make a play mid then go back to bot. also if you arent coming from base you can roam after crashing a wave into the enemy turret or after taking objectives. also you should probably be roaming to help your jg take grubs unless your adc will tilt ajd leave the gake or if you see him as the only win con, just play the game and you will learn from experience when to do what, you just need to be making concious decisions instead of autopiloting

Can someone explain to me TF fenomen? I tried this champ because I very like his appearance but guys... For me he does not have any burst. Like he does not make any dmg. Ok, sometimes you stun the enemy with yellow card but what after? You use q and maybe autoatrack what does literally nothing to the enemy. I probably do something wrong since he's even banned on the LEC but I don't understand what. For me compared to Ahri, Malzahar, Irelia etc he's super weak.

yes but how does one win lane consistently as a kassadin? most of the points in this video i cant really "place" unto kassadin, i am low elo however so maybe someone can explain?
theres very few matchups where you are stronger than the enemy so the only time you win trades are when your enemy messes up
also, since you cant reliably hard push lane to crash and then take a good base to spend ~500 gold my low elo brain doesnt see how this applies to my favourite champ
With Kassadin I would say as long as you don't die in lane you actually are winning that lane. Giving up cs to stay healthy in lane early is often normal and you just really wanna work towards getting your lvl 11 spike and try to roam with that. As soon as you hit 16 it becomes so easy to just close out games with just a few well played skirmishes.
What @max said, when you play champs that hard lose a lane (like lux into tristana, hate that yordle), it's better to play at max xp range from minions, wait till it gets to your half, farm what you can, recall when you get low, and try to setup good ganks for your jg when he's nearby. Use your abilities not as a means to combo burst but poke and prevent (silence, stun). Kassidin is an champ of opportunity, as in, you'll want to learn how to recognize a good opportunity to go all-in or gank another lane/jg. You don't necessarily have to wait to level 16 to be the unstoppable force, but he's called a 16gg (like kayle) for a reason. Just gotta have a loooot of patience in bad matchups, basically :)

Your first point is sooooooooooo true. If you are having fun, your tilt meter will take SOOO much longer to fill. Winning lane is important, unless you play Akali or Ahri like I do, and roaming kinda is lane'ing, if that makes sense.
I play mainly just Ahri but I've played some other picks like Vex or Veighar for example if Ahri is taken/banned. Ahri and Vex are so fun unless you fall behind hard. When even or ahead, Ahri is an absolute blast
@@danielhughes3758 agreed, whenever I'm tilted I play ahri mid to calm down because it's fun to play. The skillshots on Q & E are hard to hit against a more experienced opponent but around my level I can hit it basically always and it's super fun seeing them helplessly run at me while my Q eats up their health.

It's all good saying "know your matchups", but as a noob HOW do I do that? Do I just read one of the build pages or the LoL wiki as the game loads? Or is there another way to know that. Because there are a lot of champs/matchups and I don't actually know who powerspikes when, etc.

as a support main I absolutely hate this advice. 99% of the time in low elo the only wards on the map are mine and the jungler’s who is my duo anyway. absolutely love being jumped from the brush because I can only place 5-6 wards at the time and when the map is fully opened this is not enough.

Winning lane is important but ima take a page out of LS’ book here. Laning is only a third of the game. If you pick a hyper scaler and play the lane even chances are you’re winning that game. Scaling means more than a snowbally comp unless that snowball comp gets Uber ahead it’s not going to do a whole lot
This is exactly why I picked up Vlad and Kassadin. Once you get ahead, you get a huge advantage and hit late-game state a lot sooner. I’ve always been decent at laning and I found that it can be really hard to carry with snowball champions, especially if the enemy has even one way to shut you down (polymorph, Malzahar ult, etc). Just wait for late game and roll them with the burst tank assassin mages.

Like fr why would You coach a team of probably silver 4 players, they don't need coaching, they need to watch league content in general. Coaching is useful if you're low masters since everything you need to know to climb to D2 is free on TH-cam

I really have fun with qiyana since shes the closest i can get to a champ like Invoker in dota but the nerfs just makes me play her harder and unfun when i first picked her up when she first released
Durability patch nerfed assassins because assassins being 1 level higher than a side lane and with 1 item can 1 shot any side lane to start snowballing really fast before that patch. There is no counter play to it in the early game. It was a toxic play style because it gave overwhelming power to a small set of characters and players. The assassin mid or jungle could technically be behind their counter part and still get back into the game through this. I've seen more than a few Qiyana and Katarinas go 0/3/0 in lane until level 6, and then pop down to botside for an easy double kill where their combo will still 1 shot the botside enemies. That was because there was zero counter play to that and the game favored assassins in the meta for a long time. Really since the season 8 rune changes that stripped all the durability out of the game by removing the durability runes and trees.
The meta has shifted and assassins are no longer the 1 shot easy to dominate champs anymore. They can still do 1 shots if they actually get ahead first in lane. That is the key difference. Before, an assassin didn't really need to get ahead in lane as they could just wait for level 6 and then get back into the game by destroying a side lane with easy kills. Now they have to get ahead if they want to destroy a side lane for easy kills. It is basically separating good assassin players from bad ones. Qiyana is still very viable. You just can't play like crap anymore early on and expect to have a relatively easy win still.
She is still a very good pick, the diff with the new durability patch is that u wont oneshot a Lux with one eqwq combo if you are equal in gold/levels. But if you are ahead you will still oneshot squishies with one qwq.
@@menchoxe5544 Exactly. Assassin mains are used to thinking that if a squishie doesn't automatically die the moment they see their pixels on screen regardless of level or item disparity then their assassin characters are just unplayable...

i used to have fun until i genuinely couldnt cause i was ass my teammates were ass and i was stuck in a shitty elo and i genuinely cant carry no matter how hard i try and its frustrating bro.
i used to be a passive player, and not really know how/when to do trades without my jungler being there, but now im aggressive and sometimes that gets me into trouble. my cs is only decent, sometimes i win sometimes im pretty even, sometimes i lose in cs. like compared to when i first started playing league i can see huge improvements but still not good enough so i wanna like "start over" and learn everything step by step starting from the basics, and hopefully turn into someone who can carry or just have fun again.
edit: oh it might not help that i main mostly lux, seraphine, neeko, and ahri, but i can still play a select few other mages

i gave up on mid kayle because of that, the other mid laner didnt even knew how to farm but he won by roaming while my jungler was possibly crying in chat (idk i muted it) and we lost because my jungler started inting

"donot use wards" really sounds stupid af, it doesnt just help you, even at a bad place, a ward can be usefull, focus on laning and use your wards, dont overthink your wards, but put themdown... sounds better to "start"
Ok but the "every champ is good enough to climb to challenger" statement is plain wrong even the best ot can have trouble if their champ is really off meta.

She is actually not that hard to play, it is just harder to win on her if you dont know all the things she can do

Been playing Vex a lot these days. She's very fun to play, I've been enjoying it a lot. I wanted to main her, but never took the time to watch a guide. I learned all by myself, and honestly, I think I'm doing quite good. The other day, a friend of mine urged me to play Ashe ADC with him as a support. I never spent a game THIS boring. And the game went pretty sad because I wasn't into it at all. Next game I played my sweet little Caitlyn, and went 18/2.
Ashe support is not fun even for people that want to do that...

i play with only one off meta build which makes me super strong at like 3 items (sunderer, manamune, cannon), i almost always win lane (or at the very least come back at the mark of 20 minutes) and the game just generally goes fine until the late game
yet sometimes i still get demolished after a certain amount of time, particulary, when champions like irelia or yasuo build angel and get super tanky (before that, i could solo them just fine) now even with package and team, they get difficult

I've played MF mid and it is Fun! you can even remain AD if someone else on your team is an AP champ. She's a lane bully for any melee champ until they get their dashes. AP/Crit Hybrid is my fave - starting E and bombing them with Q bounces and comets. It is oppressive and fun if you know how to play her
This is exactly why I main Master Yi, and have for years. I find his playstyle to be the single most fun in the entire game and nothing so far as really compared. People always say he’s a low elo champion that gets worse as you climb, but the recent 12.13 changes might actually help that a little. Love the champion, wouldn’t wanna main anyone else

i think another good point you shoulda made is that if youre new and even if ur having fun, you can genuinely expect to lose a lot of games at first as you learn each matchup. for example, every champ you go against is new to you. you dont know what to expect or predict if its your first time playing against these champs. but after playing against each champ at least 10 times each in the mid lane, you start to be able to counter them and outsmart them
You can't undervalue having fun. I used to OTP old ASol up to D2 on 3 accounts.
After the rework, I haven't found a new love and can't get out of gold because of a shit mental game
I find it odd that there are coaches for league. My mindset is- if I’m having fun, if I play consistently and pay attention, I’ll improve… and it’s just a video game. Like I’m not expecting to win championships or anything lol. I’m just here to play a video game.

I have been playing league for about 8-9 years, my main role always has been mid. I would never suggest to someone to start with TF and Orianna, it'd be the fastest way for them to never want to play mid again. Let's be honest, these champions kinda suck, especially for someone trying to learn. A simple mage like Annie or Brand would do a much better job of getting someone hooked to playing this lane.
I have the problem that i can never onetrick a champ more than 50 Games. Ive been playing for over 10 years and easily reach Dia every season with more or less playing filled, but i miss the vital mechanics on a single Champion to get master+
