    Felt material - yes. Easy - no. Good stuff, thanks man. If only people knew how much trial and error a CG artist goes through! And that behind every fluffy CGI ball there's a ton of work, several particle systems, decent lighting and materials.

    This is sick. I did some felted rabbits for my university project but had to export to unity and wasn't sure how I would do that with the hair particles

    Thanks! I can save the material in my asset manager, but is there a way to include the particle system so we can drop it on new objects without having to rebuild that part?

    Hello, wonderful video but when I tried to apply the texture to a new model the particles were not included on the new model.. Do I have to collapse the particles before applying to a new model? Thanks for any help.

    Do you know why i can't see particles in the solid viewport? Only in the rendered and material preview viewport

    Awesome stuff. Now I'm just going to convert this concept into something I can use for real time rendering in OpenGL.

    How do you save a material that you make for later use? Is that even possible?

    • @iamnotra
      @iamnotra 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Right click on your material (on the material properties panel) and click "mark as asset". You will have it on your asset manager. I think it can be saved and reused.

    Thanks for the tutorial! i need some help. I am using green and in my case ended up looking more like grass :( would it be possible to make the hairs more curly?? i have not figured out how. I need it to look more like the green part of a kitchen sponge. SOS

      @sugarcane281 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sleepykayo84 Do you mean how to use the asset browser? That’s how you can save a texture to use in other blend files ect. it took me a while but I finally figured it out looking up “how to use asset browser”.
