Which should be the Norm for high performance EVs. If they were designed properly to be only marginally heavier than similar ICE car. Handling should be fun and agile to the point it hides it's weight. EVs are naturally good at turn in changing direction, the main problem is Hard Braking to a low speed that is where the weight is a problem. The panels will be paid off in the next 6 years and they will continues to not have electricity bills, get tax credits and more money on their pockets. As far as the cost of the car even a well specd ev6 gt will be around 10k/yr in payments which is less than what I spend on fuel + car payment right now. So tell me again about how I am dreaming?

At current EV prices, and current gas prices, EV benefits/savings are likely limited to only those who put on an extremely high number of miles each year and can charge from home.
