I had the same issue with 2015 Honda Odyssey so we flushed the Module and still had the air bag on. After a lot of research we figured it out that it was a honda bug where the seat belt tensioner but not the seat belt itself.

I have a 2016 accord with no accident history that I've had since new for 7 years and last week the light came on during the day time but at night it turns off which is weird, then just recently it's decided to stay on now even during the night time and I have no idea why its doing this and what could be causing it. I can see the passenger air bag light that tells you if its detected a person doesn't come on anymore and I'm curious if a connection is lost for the passenger side or something ?
