There are ALOT of critical comments on this video but the reality is that he is learning in front of us and filming what most people dont have the courage to film. The real reality is that things go wrong all the time and yes, you have to be willing to back up what you do when you’re working on somebody else’s vehicle and explain the risks and benefits to your customers as long as all of the communication is transparent then they need to accept that they are not bringing their vehicle to dealership. They’re bringing it to an aftermarket repair facility, and as there is certain amount of liability and risk. Also many people posting comments on here probably don’t do this for a living and understand the connections that people have that do automotive work on a regular basis obviously, he’s not gonna be out here rolling the dice if he doesn’t have a back up plan to save the vehicle. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I do do this for a living, so I’m just speaking as somebody who has gone through the stress of having to learn these things and there is no good school for it other jobs on the road. Again any school at all is going to be very expensive for this specialty. I’m not saying this is the best video, the back-and-forth can be confusing however let’s not discredit this person that creates a lot of content that we have all watched otherwise we wouldn’t even be here on this video so thanks everyone who’s out there trying to learn and to teach. Not everybody’s going to be a clean cut American named Ted who’s going to show you the OEM factory software way to do it at the dealer because that’s not valid in the field. 💯

Hi there I have 2013 Mercedes Benz S550 W221 , the car battery drains every couple of days, I replaced the battery 3 times already , I have code D135 The Wake-up Line Has Short Circuit To Ground Please help Thank you

I had the same problem, there was no air blown, after reconnecting wire harnesses problem solved

It was my alternator shutoff while driving Power Steering light came on

Wtf is this, you say that its important to follow procedure but you dont actually follow it and the video is cut couple of times, we dont know what did you actually do after both of keys were not turning ignition ON, we dont know if you choose add key, all keys lost or add an old key. Next it ask you if you want program more keys, you click yes but you dont want to add next, really stupid video

What is the code was showing when you read the codes?

So basically this is the same error that happened to Me. I went to program new key. while there was 10 minute countdown i moved laptop by accident and connection got lost. Since then i cant reprogram new key and that error is in the BCM b101e-48 electronic control unit software no security code programmed Luckily car recognizes original key so its start and i can use it. Do i need to do exactly same things as you did in video to get this issue resolved ? On google some people say if i do 100 ignitions the error could clear itself. Which i dont really believe it will happen since it looks like the ECU lost the security code and now it accepts any code you input !

Thanks Haroon for the additional info, but I think there's a much simpler way to test if the alternator is charging or not. Just measure the battery voltage with the engine on and off. If the voltage is higher by about two volts when the engine is running, the alternator is good. Otherwise, it's bad!
