Most hotels have those small hallways so that they can access the water and power without having to rip the walls out or bother the tenants, they will put the room out of service most of the time when they work on them anyway.
First off it's a Motel not hotel and that trucking company is piss poor they have their own motel due to extremely high turn over rate be safe and tae care
Back in 1998 I went here to meet with supervisors to drive for covenant. The rooms is where they did drug screens for potential drivers. They trained people on getting their CDL commercial drivers license. There was trucks there for students to practice on and take their CDL exam. Covenant is one of the companies that train you get get your CDL. The owners of covenant are religious. They are ok to their drivers but they drive them hard and don't pay them as much as they could
I guess you don't drive yet. Trying to back a 40,000-pound trailers between other vehicles and building to accurately put it in a doorway to load or unload, to make emergency stops, to control if/when you blow a steer tire while in heavy traffic with a heavy load pushing you ahead, the paperwork, the government regulations, etc. Not nearly as easy as stepping on the gas and turning the wheel. Maybe after you struggle to parallel park a "smart car" you might then appreciate what someone trying got do the same with an 18-wheeler has to go through. But when you f-up with your car, you stretch someone's paint, when you do it with a big truck, you kill people.
I love the way you explore I subscribed to your channel well done
Thanks! I watch yours to, I liked the Fox 51 place.

@ god forbid! And I’m aware as my husband is a diesel mechanic lmao we’ve heard all about this place.
It used to be a holiday inn before covenant bought it
Thanks for the info. Did you stay there?
Dang the place isn't that bad with a little fixing up it could be put back up as a motel😎👍

Thanks for the info. I do not know much about trucking (although I know a lot of truckers). Also how did it look in 1998?
I was at a super bowl party in the lounge in the mid 80s
would have been funny if you went into the "F" Room and the other guy was in there,
and yelled get outta my F'in room! 🤣
The homeless took it over for awhile

You are absolutely correct
Now the new guys sleep in a dorm. No private rooms
So what happened to Covenant? Did they move or go out of business?
They moved to a new location
No it is a trucking company right down the road
