It never ceases to amaze me how simple some of these seemingly impossible tasks can be done with such minimal material and effort. Awesome again bud!! :)

This is a game changer. Well done mate! Love it! Could you one day make a video about setting up a tumbler with the appropriate polishing compounds? I think a few of us would find that useful.

Perfect! I’ve been polishing some castings lately to spray Metallics over the polished finish but there’s 1 casting that didn’t polish that good. This will help me!
Thanks for the great video 👍🏽

I can see how this episode will lead to other plating topics. I like your result, and would very much enjoy seeing you paint a plated car in a way that would exploit the surface finish that plating provides. Great work as always. I enjoy this channel so much!

this is a major step in redline restoration!! now you can make nearly all cars just like the day they rolled off.. That Charger will look like new again, once you get to painting it :)
I really like way you explain the chemistry behind the proces.

Not a collector, fan, or even owner of any hot wheels or matchbox cars. I'm an automotive enthusiast without a doubt, but what really kept me here is your ability to grow and do new things. Plus, your tone of voice is very relaxing, and after a long day of work it's nice to see a new (or old) video to help unwind. Thanks for the videos! Keep them coming :D

Love your videos and your work. Just wanted to mention that 'Redline Media Centre' has a video on youtube that claims it is better to use spectraflame with a hardner that then results in a chip proof finish rather than clear coat afterwards that does not. Thought you might find that info useful. He bashes a painted car to prove the point. Thanks again and keep up the great restorations.

Power supply arrived yesterday. Picked up a gallon of white vinegar and some epsom salts on the way home tonight. Zinc strip is soaking in the solution. I have a 63 split window Corvette that my wife wants in Spectraflame Red, but when I stripped the paint, it was ugly underneath. This is going to be my first attempt at zinc plating.

    Dear Sir,
I have just watched a few of your excellent tutorial videos , and your techniques are applicable to other modelling, so very good.
I have two concerns , one you do not use disposable gloves when spray painting , which could lead to poisoning through your skin pores, and two you do not use an extractor fan based spray booth, again a potentially serious health hazard.
I do note that you emphasis safety with non water based materials, even so , I think it would be preferable that you please use disposable gloves for your work , and lash out on a vented spray booth please.
Your precise mode of talking is very commendable, thank you.
    Best wishes, Philip from Australia.
