RB 3025 Arista frame, g-15 lens. Absolute classic

Hi. That standard size aviator 3025 has 58mm lense width to 14 mm Bridge.... Would you say that the Shooter model 3138 large is corresponding to the standard cos the lense are bigger at 62mm but bridge is smaller at 9mm only? I am just wandering what size of shooter would fit better as I use to have standard size aviator. Thank you.
Hello Martin! Great question. The RB3025 Aviator comes in 3 sizes: 55, 58 and 62. The RB3138 Shooter will fit most like the RB3025 58 eyesize as they are both considered a men's large. If the size 58 in the RB3025 Avitaor worked well for you, the RB3138 Shooter should fit well. I have New Wayfarer in Matt Tort polarising, 55mm Caravan in Arista G15, and on the way I have RB3044 Aviator 52mm again in Arista / G15
Will the Caravan ever be offered in a silver frame option on the SportRX site like Ray Ban has on their site located in their "customize" and "eyeglasses" categories? I would personally love a sliver-framed Caravan to be available with SportRX lenses (clear to brown transition lenses for example) even if the silver frame cost a bit more. The gunmetal option is the closest option I can find to silver, but it just doesn't have quite the look I'm wanting. Is there a product request form on your site? I know Ray Ban makes them. If SportRX could offer the Silver frame as well that would be awesome.
Thanks for the video. I have a pair of B&L Ray-Ban Aviator Precious Metals Masterpiece 24ct gold plated from about 1992 I think. I have lost one of the nosepads and any advice as to where to obtain a replacement would be welcome.
Oof that's a tough one! For the original vintage nose pads you may have to look online from private retailers, but for a simple replacement, visit a local optical shop as they may have a set that works!
@@sportrxeyewear Yes, thanks. I've fitted a temporary pair using some silicone glue so it's not permanent but tracking down original nose pads for this model is proving impossible. I only lost one so have one original but fear it would be expensive to copy but that's what I'm looking into next. Thanks again.

Will the original ray ban logo fade away when washed or rubbed???
Hello! Do you mean on the sides of the frame or on the lens itself? There is potential for the logo stamp on the lens to rub off with time, although with proper care and maintenance this shouldn't occur especially if using cleaning products designed specifically for glasses lenses. The logo on the sides of the frame should not rub off at all. This usually only happens with knockoff designs.

Hi Azrin! Yes, the RB3558 is considered an Aviator. It is very similar to the RB3025 Original Aviator but features polycarbonate lenses instead of crystal. Hope this helps!
