I brought the RB3026 in 2014 in classic green lens, gold frame and clear temple tips as this was the only version available, apart from the black frame option. Back then there was no RB3025 in the large 62mm size in either green or brown classic or in the polarised versions.
I guess the RB3026 is discontinued as the 62mm is now an option with the RB3025.
Hello! You can't go wrong with the classic G-15 & gold combo! RB3026 is still being produced but you're absolutely correct that there are now other polarized options in the RB3025 62 eyesize!
Hello, Is the weight of the RB3025 higher because of the glass lenses than the glasses with plastic lenses? In fact, how many grams does the RB3025 weigh?
I wear the 62 because I have a massive head. They look 'normal' on me but when people with average size try them on my aviators look huge on them

What about the span of the temples? Are they supposed to be parallel when you put them on? I bought the small Aviators, and I think the lens size works well for my face, but the temples span out a little. Is that okay as far as fit is concerned? I don’t want them sliding off too easily in case I have to look down.

I use 55 size wayfarers, can you advise me with which size of aviators should I buy? Video is helpfull with sizes but doesn’t tll how glasses should fit to the face. Should they cover eyebrows or not?
They should cover at least most of your eyebrow I think
It's really up the preferences of the wearer! For instance, some people prefer an oversized look and opt for the Outdoorsman Aviator model but some like a more balanced look on the face that is usually achieved with a small frame size. As far as where it sits relative to one's eyebrows, that again is up the the user. Widening the nosepads will drop the frame down a tad which helps those with high or pronounced bridges but alternatively, one can squeeze the nosepads together to raise the placement of the frame on the face. Hope this helps!

Outward or Upward? It really depends on the individual in regards to their style preference and application. Some people like an oversized look but will pull the nosepads back to allow the frame front to sit further off the face, alleviating cheek crash. Others might prefer a smaller frame size and pinch the nosepads together to lift the frame off the face. In general, a few millimeters between the frame bottom and cheek is a good distance. Hope this helps!
How should one adjust the nosepad? I don't want to break them and going to an expert is inconvenient because I want to try multiple setups

How do you adjust the nose pads?
Hi Chris! It's best to take the frames to a local optician for nosepad adjustments BUT some people prefer to do it themselves. Placing a microfiber cloth over the prongs of some needle nose pliers and very gently reshaping the angle of the nosepad arms should get the job done without damaging the frame 👍
How diffrent bewteen 58/28 and 58/ 14. Avaiator sunglasses
Hey Ken! Thanks for reaching out! The 58/14 refers to the RB3025 Aviator's size as a 58 lens width and 14 bridge. There are no Aviators with a 28 bridge as referenced in the first sizing combination. In fact, all of the RB3025 Aviators have a 14 bridge-, no matter the eyesize! Hope this helps :)

Hey Matt! When you order prescription lenses for the Aviator you have the option to select RB lenses or SportRx brand on the SportRx.com. All RB authentic lenses will include the logo stramped on the lens but not with SportRx lenses. However, if no prescription is required then unfortunately all the paired lenses that come with the frame provided by RayBan will include the stamped logo.

Hi Warren! The Ray-Ban RB3025 Aviator should have the model number printed on the left temple. Although, I will say that my personal pair has started to wear off over use. If it is brand new, it should be printed on the frame. Hope this helps!

Seems the kids today are wearing the larger frames regardless of thier head size. But for me, I am not following trends....however, I just ordered the 58mm and noticed they don't offer as much coverage as my $10 aviator sunglasses which leads me to think mine were 62mm? there is no listing on size for the $10 aviators.. Next time I know that "large" aviator lenses vary from brand to brand. While I am happy with the Ray-Bans I am not happy that I can still see the glare of the sun on the sides on the lenses when wearing them. I can't return them because they were used from ebay.
