Krita is honestly the most userfriendly paint program I've used so far.

Same here. I painted and drew my whole life, but I never got too much into digital painting because it was such a pain to use software. Any software.

Hello Developers I love you all and thankyou
And I have three humble request, and just
To be honest I am from a adobe background
Our schools teach us Photoshop and after
effects them but I wanna swich
    Because I can't buy them I don't have so
Much family support but you guys helped
Me ^_^ so I thankyou once again
And here are my three request:
    1. I wanna use one alpha for Eraser
And a different alpha for brush but
Every time when I switch between
I need to change its alpha again
    evertime, because the brush and
    Eraser have same alpha :(
2.And can you give an option where
the eriser works like in Photoshop
Press E to erase but not toggle,
Because many times I forgot its a
Toggle and sometime erase my art
(Thanks to ctrl z), but wish there was
An option to off the toggle function on
Eraser so I can just eraser by E and
B to get back to brush. No! Toggling.
3.Last but not least Can we have Motion
Tween like in Adobe flash so I can pan
My background with ease without going
To other softwares and if possible all
Other tweens as well it would be great help.
(Its not like now I can pan background but
With motion tween its much easier)
Thankyou once again love you all take care.
LOL this is a really big paragraph by the way
    ☝️😅

True I understand the toggle function even
I many times erase my art acdentely.

    • @KritaOrgPainting
      @KritaOrgPainting  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Ok, let's try to solve that question.
      1. go to Brush editor and then look on the bottom part. There are 3 radio buttons. Click on the "Eraser switch size" and "eraser switch opacity"
      2. Eraser is a "mode" inside Krita. If you want to have the E key for Eraser you have to do some tricks. But you loose the good thing about erase mode:To transform all brushes in posible erasers. If more users report this i will take into consideration to include for another video.
      3. Honestly i would need to check that. (Ramon here)

so far with my experiences with krita have been excruciatingly painful and very frustrating. i would finish a drawing i’d be working for hours then try to export it to my phone. i’d either have to email it to my phone and have it with terrible quality or it would say “error in writing this document” or something along those lines and would not let me save, click anything and would not give me instructions on how to save my work. i could not find any information on this and all my progress would get lost. i’ve used paint tool sai before and i’ve never had problems like this. it was incredibly easy to use and all the settings i needed and tools i needed were easy to access unlike krita. i’d understand why because there are so many options you have in the program which i appreciate but this is the first drawing program i’ve had to search up on how to use and this guide didn’t help me figure out my recurring problem.

I love krita's brushes and what it offers but it never seems to work quite well on my 6 year old macbook. Also it seems a little heavy too.....

I come here because I didnt see any good pictures for the other art program i was using, most importantly didnt see any good tutorials, so if it wasnt for your little guide I wouldnt of chose krita.

Is Krita comparable to Procreate? What do you like better? Does Krita work well for tablets?

Krita team is working hard in making Krita for tablets the SAME Krita you have in desktop. Both are good aplications with pros and cons. Of course if we have to choose we choose Krita. But the word "comparable" need to be more exact to be answered //RM
