@@TroyJamesMD yeah I’ve never had a issue doing it. I started doing it when i had saw leaks occurring on the first 3.8T I did. Oil cooler would leak even with new lines. Used Teflon tape and it stopped. So ever since then I do it for insurance
Been to busy to edit lately. Orders on all my products have been going crazy plus work at the garage has had me booked for weeks in advance currently. People all over Texas are coming for installs now.

Not supposed to use Teflon tape on AN fittings....
I do all the time. No issues.
Seems like that would hinder the O ring from seating properly. Whatever works!
