It is a bit confusing and there does seem to be about $10 not accounted for... there was one little box under the coupon line that I checked for something as well.... hopefully the tool is useful enough to make up for that!
This is genuinely awesome! Thank you for doing all these shootings. VDIAGTOOL VD70S is the newest diagnostic scanner tool. We're glad to see everybody have a try (follow the pinned comment to explore more)!
@@AutoEdits Different companies with varying prices but some do offer lifetime upgrades... for similar prices. Too many choices causes me to freeze up so I just went with the one you reviewed. I need to get a channel to get products for reviews. Some are worth it.
Welp, I suppose I needed a scan tool! Just wanted to let you know i've basically watched most of your videos and i've chosen and installed a metalcloak lift on my own jeep thanks to your videos. (It was a fun learning experience) Appreciate your content!
Eventually getting a scan tool can be helpful... so when that time comes I can recommend this unit. Seems very capable for the price point. Glad to hear you attacked the lift install and enjoyed it! I like hearing that!
Looks like a great tool. I have been on the verge of buying one as I wil be needing it. I need to make sure this one coud ldo my '21 BMW first. When you have the brands I didn't see BMW listed and not all scanners do them. Will need it for doing my rear brakes and putting in service mode as well as changing the fluid in the ZF 8-speed transmission. Thanks for sharing.
You sold me at ABS bleed. That feature is only available on professional diagnostic equipment. This thing is loaded with professional features at an affordable price! Mine comes this Friday, can’t wait to use it! Thank you for this!
I was thrilled when I found that feature here. I'm going to utilize that on my Range Rover since it's had a spongy pedal since I got it and even did a full brake flush and bleed. Might even shoot a video on that process. Hope you find this thing useful!!
I thought to share for those that might be in the market for a tool eventually. It seems to be a good option. My house is safe so far and hoping for the best with these winds. Thanks so much for the thoughts ❤
@@NarleyAdventures I hope it is handy for you! Did you use the link in the pinned comment or the one from the description? I'm guessing the coupon code worked for ya 👍
You gotta stay on top of the wheel speed sensors on the JKs! Both of my rear ones went out a couple years ago and it felt like it was losing 6th gear, no power, acting like it was an old ford with a flooded carb every time I’d try to accelerate. As soon as I changed them it started acting right!
I tried the Diablo sport tuner for a while, and then ran a super unleaded tune through HP Tuners and found after all that the Jeep is happiest on regular unleaded, gas and a stock tune. And that’s where it’s at now.
I run a superchips tuner on my jku. It runs really good on the 93 tune but you really don’t get enough of a mpg gain to justify it. The 87 tune gives it a nice power boost and about 1mpg. 6spd manual transmission, 4.56 gears, 35” tires, bumpers, tools, all the heavy stuff and I usually get around 15mpg around town an 16-16.5 at 70mph on the highway.

The discount does not appear to be working
It says it will get applied at checkout... I haven't tried going that far with it. Have you?

I bought it but other sellers have lifetime updates...
Different tools, or same tool with more than the 3 years of updates?

I was just thinking of scan tools the other day, so this is timely. Thanks!
I think that for this price point, it's a really good tool with a lot of capability.
Nice item. I'm glad to see you're safe from the fires.
My junk is safe, but it's awful for so many people. Thanks for the thought!
Cool new toy! =

I was surprised this one Inc my 2013 Range Rover sport, but it does

I have the corded version VD70 and it's an awesome scanner for the price and all that it offers!
I agree 👍
Nice bi directional scan tool. Good video Jason
Thanks 👍
Hey Jason. Cool tool review and discount, will seriously consider picking it up.
Hoping and praying you guys are OK from LA fires raging.

Wish I had one of these when changing the 8 sp trans fluid !
Oh yeah... no dipstick or fill tube... fun times 🤣
I personally trust every word Jeepin Jason says and take it as a FACT!
Welp! Let's start saving.. again!
Well... I appreciate that confidence but I'm just a youtube mechanic doing my best 🤣 I do like this thing so far!

You've always been way too kind, thank you!
I agree, I got to start saving as well…😅
Great video!
Thanks for watching!
That’s a great price for a tool that actually works well.
That was exactly my thoughts.

👍🏻
Thanks for a great review. What's the cost for updates?
All updates are included for 3 years from purchase and then $99 after that.
Does this unit diagnose which wheel sensor/speed sensor has gone bad? Thank you.
On my Jeep it did. The right rear showed an "FFFFF" for the ID number while the other three wheels had an actual number.
@@AutoEdits Thank you, just bought it ! I have a 2012 JKR

Does it clear traction control lights?
It will clear the trouble code but more importantly, it might help you figure out why it's throwing that code.
@AutoEdits Thanks. The service traction control issue pops up every few years with Escalades.
Do you have to have a yearly fee be able to continue to use the scan tool
From what I’ve read, it comes with 3 years of full updates and $99 after that.
Do you run any type of tuner on the jeep?
I tried the Diablo sport tuner for a while, and then ran a super unleaded tune through HP Tuners and found after all that the Jeep is happiest on regular unleaded, gas and a stock tune. And that’s where it’s at now.
You just saved me $600
