Boyan Live At Hard Rock Cafe Copenhagen (12 string)

Ok, so I've been gigging for a few weeks with the 12 string but it wasn't until a few days ago that I finally was able to build a proper bridge and nut spaced very tightly so I can play how I want to play.
It took a week of filing, sanding, grinding... I had to buy a lot of tools, but it was well worth it.
The actual music side is definitely work in progress, but I see incredible potential.
I tried all kinds of string gauges, I had wacky ideas, none of them worked out. I settled on 12/54 tuned to C. Fits my voice ok, moves a lot of air. One idea that didn't work out was a high B octave and I will try again with a .08 gauge. I only had .010 which felt a bit too stiff.
The guitar is a cannon. Plays effortlessly, in tune, capos are not a problem at all. I can't say I'm a fan of the piezo sound, but blending in a little of the mic helps, plus I just go with a cable now. It has a built in tuner, which works great.
I am figuring out what songs work best in what new keys.
In other news, the 7 string is nearly done, so soon I will start working on that too.
