Hello friend, I'm just a working musician. Have a peak at what I do.
A bit about me:
I've played guitar since I was little. I'm a graduate of Berklee College of Music class of 2009. I've been lucky to go around the world many many times playing music and have no plans of stopping. I love what I do and intend on do it for as long as I can :) I like to travel so if you have any leads for gigs, or if you want to play together, please get in touch!
The videos here are mostly documents for my personal development and archive - a casual peak into my music life. I hope you'll enjoy.
Things related to my channel:
My critically acclaimed Boston, MA, USA band called B11 - all our releases plus tons of live videos.
My old original band from Bulgaria - Zmei (Змей) - 2002-2005
God Bless You!

For the Archive. Footage from the month of May which I dedicated to figuring out how to play the 7 string guitar, and advance further on the 12 string guitar. Mistakes and all, no edits, no changes - good and bad takes, it's all in here as it happened. How did I feel at the time of recording these videos? Not good. A lot of technical disappointment - from poor video angles and settings, to what...

sick playing man, i own one of these beauties too (can't shred anywhere like you tho). usually just make lots of silly noise with mine.
Playing was fabulous and sold me the RK5. Sounded amazing.
Thank you very much, glad you liked it :)
Dang... Who's the girl rocking out at the bar? Oh... Nice playing. :)
Never heard a better Morphine cover than this. Good job👌 Cheers from Holland
Thank you, John! Cheers from Copenhagen!
I have a T-shirt from there! … never been 😮
After seeing this video you can tell everyone you’ve been 😊👍
Excellent playing, great music! Regards from Poland.
Thank you very much!
seriously tho.. a kazoo would be great!
You had me confused. I thought video was much older as your heading is QE2. Current ship is plain Queen Elizabeth. On QM2 in 2022 we did more ballroom & latin to a party band "Exxile" in the club/disco than the Queens Room. Most stuff in Queens Room was good, but some beats that were twisted to suit a dance didn't sound right. If we came across you on QM2 in 2025 or 2026 I'm sure we'd be on the floor all the time. Not too much jive though, we'd be knackered!
I too was confused by this as well. Glad I wasn't the only one lost with the QE2 reference. 😀
@@ABCTravelTips @davidhouston3946 - you are both correct! I had it wrong and fixed it, of course this was on the QE, not the QE2. Sorry for the confusion. And yes, there were a few charts that weren't very good (Tell Me Mama by Lenny Kravitz comes to mind), we just didn't play them. Another thing for me was that some of the choices for keys were questionable - like here - I Saw Her Standing There in A. Original key is E, which is quite high, but A is too low, I'd say somewhere in the middle would be better - D, Db or C. Oh well...
Master
Nice version
Awesome ! I just happened to chat with Dana Colley { Morphine sax player}the other night at a small club in Boston. Cool to see you playing outside of The Middle East Mark’s favorite place
Love it! Hope you post again soon :)
Thank you! I will post the stuff I’m currently working on (7&12 string guitars)as soon as I have some decent footage from gigs - usually shorts, but also entire gigs recorded direct from my mixer, they usually sound cleaner. Thank you for watching 🙏

I clapped. Well done!
Hope you’re in Helsinki next week! See you in the sauna :)
✌️💜🎶🥳🥰
That is the most impressive solo 12-string acoustic performance I've heard! (other than Stevie Ray Vaughan on MTV)
Thank you very much! I love the SRV Unplugged!
You need a kazoo for this’n..
😂
GOOD MAN!
so good! Охуенно!
What a great pocket....like there's an entire band underneath him!
Hey man, in my nearly 30 years of playing you’re the first person to put it like that, and that type of feel, that’s what I hope to achieve, that’s what I’m going for, I appreciate you sharing this, it means very much to me, thank you so much! 🙌🙏
Took me 1/2 the song to notice the shirt. Nicely done.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful. Would you consider doing an acoustic lesson of this song?
Thank you! I teach occasionally when time allows and there’s interest.
@@boyan.guitar I’m interested! I love how you translated the bends for acoustic. Gorgeous.
@@maryk6780 thank you! Let me know how I can help. If you like bends I invite you to have a listen to my recent version of Sleepwalk, th-cam.com/video/gKvfJgboUek/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wplna2rcFQKEwDdD
Wicked pissah, kid! Never heard anyone cover a Morphine song solo on an acoustic guitar before but it was worth the wait. Good stuff! 👍
Thank you very much!
Молоток!!!! ❤
My algoes finally brought me here! From Boston, wicked fucken great job!
Epic! That was outstanding! I have recently discovered Morphine and TH-cam showed me your video. Mate, all the best!
Nice jangly guitar sound! Perfect for the song
great playing. What amp / PA do you use for wedding and cocktail hour? Thanks
It varies from gig to gig. I’d say as long as you can be heard it doesn’t matter too much. I focus more on the timing of the music. Thank you for watching.
only a super morphine addict can do this
Guilty as charged! 🫡
What kind of tuning are you using? Open C? Great job!!!
Great authentic cover! Cool!
Good cover BALD HEAD
Do you have Tabs for this?
No
Phenomenal cover man! Nailed it down to the vocals!
Amazing 👁
Wow, ...best Morphine cover I have ever seen!!! Nice work man, Mark would have been proud!!
Great setlist and performance, congrats! Proximity effect is something that I'm also struggling with when listening to a live recording of myself. I think there's no perfect solution, for me it's most important that I sound good on the venue and the people there are happy, the recording comes second in priority. A reasonable solution is to find a mixer with multi-track USB interface, where I can edit the vocals afterwards in the DAW ... but yeah, additional budget and also is it worth it if video platforms are not my main target? Maybe for demo/auditions, but even then I'd leave the plosives so that it sounds authentic and real ...
Hey thank you for the kind words and the reply. I too prioritize the job in the moment. Recording is not really important. I’m Fighting a lot of things in my work at the moment - I am studying ways to get the job done at minimum vocal expense while not sounding like I’m totally mailing it in. I don’t know if it can be done to my satisfaction, but I have to consider the longevity of my “career” - I don’t want to lose what little voice I have and I’m working very long hours daily. That’s why my mic is very hot, so I can flirt with it, but then all this proximity effect on low notes where I pull in close to the mic - my voice just isn’t strong in that register. As a wise man has said, there no solutions, only trade offs. I’m glad technology is evolving, my digital mixer is the size of a boss pedal and sounds and does more than my analog one used to, so maybe soon enough I could record tracks separately, but then I’d be too lazy to fix a live performance and that would go against my artistic integrity, plus AI can fix it today.. well, the best thing I can do is try my best every day and keep learning tunes. Take care, friend!
@@boyan.guitar I'd definetely look into some vocal processor for the far future, as you say, voice has to last in the long run. This combination of enhancing/compressor/noise gate can definetely lift up the mic sensitivity and performances should be less of a strugle.
Really nice, authentic sound and (laid back) feel (seems the dancers like it as well :); thanks for uploading
Cant hear you
🤷♂️ turn it up ⬆️
Not bad
Doing the best I can 😊
great
😉👍🏼✨🎶✨👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've got one of those... Love it! I wish you had played some more 'period appropriate' kind of music on it for this demo though. I don't think of this as a 'Jazz guitar' at all. It's more of a Folk/Blues/Americana leaning instrument. Sounds especially good in open tunings... It would also sound much better if you close miked it. The small 0 body benefits a lot from a close microphone.
I wish I had a bag of cash to afford an instrument like that, I’m just a working musician, instruments like that are unobtanium. My girlfriend filmed this with my phone, no mics were hurt during filming this footage lol. By the way if you’re in Oslo they have a 0-18 that’s quite good at the moment, I was just there a week ago.
Great job man ...
have a rock n roll day my friend and keep it up :D !!!!
😮 Здравей, страхотна песен. Къде може да се слуша това, опитах се да намеря парчето... Без успех.
