The attention to detail on Hammer to Fall is simply astounding. The way you get that little pick scrapy squeak between the chords just blew me away. You may have an OCD problem. Hahaha... fantastic job. Just really really good.
I almost didn't watch this as I was afraid I might get bored of someone doing a 20 minute cover, some covers just don't hold your attention, but this had me hooked all the way through. It's not even a cover, it's more of a faithful tribute to Brian's playing which made it so gripping to watch and there's so much to see and take in. I really enjoyed being able to see every fret fingered, every pluck, every strum, pick rake, wobble of the trem, strumming angle and turn of the volume knob to change sounds. You take a bow while I stand and applaud, because this video is fucking awesome.
been listening to Queen for 30 years. You really captured the essence of Brian on the technic aspect. And the sound its the exact same. 20/20 ! Astonishhing.
I love these videos,, not only because of the superb playing and sound,,, but I also have Amplitube 5 max, and no matter what guitar I try, it doesn't sound anything like the Red Special.. That combination of trisonics, short scale length and sixpence really are unique and essential to the sound. Tremendous vids,, thanks.
This blows away any other Amplitude 5 demo I’ve seen online. IK should offer you serious coin to use it to market their product. I was on the fence, but this demo might have put it over the top for me. Absolutely perfect.
Espectacular Marco. Gran trabajo. Nos encanta tu forma de tocar e interpretar a Brian. Nos ayuda muchísimo a conseguir tocar como Brian fijándonos en tu técnica que es increíble. No dejes de enseñarnos todos los secretos en los One take. Eres el mejor
The Hammer to Fall solo at live aid is by far my favorite from Brian May. His playing style with his acrobatic fingers gave way to sheer brilliance in that song. He’s a master of releasing built up tension.
I just had a throwback to when I was 12 and I discovered Queen, felt like listening to it for the first time again. Fun fact, went to London in 2012 and I was lucky enough to get a ticket for Queen's Musical, it was the 5th of September :) good memories!
I don't really like this kind of videos where some guy makes a cover and try to be real one. We all know that is always one more...but this video is something which is so impeccable. If the Doc is watching this he must be overwhelming by the accuracy and reproduction of his own art. Amazing. My respect.
Marco that was FANTASTIC. I've had to listen / watch this several times already. To do what you did here would be one of my life's ambitions. Your playing reveals every nuance of the brilliance of Brian May - well done, incredible. I love how it all works off the volume control, occasional pickup combination and phase switches... but everything in the flourishes of the hands, the switching between glassy, metallic cleans and soaring power chords with those single-note ascending and descending cello notes that underpin Freddie's singing. You MUST be proud of this performance!
Watching this up close it becomes obvious that May was a close student of Townsend. Splendid picking, and a fantastic audio production as well. I just closed my eyes and listened.
Subscribed after watching this. Really good. Been playing 15 years and one day I’d love to get to this level of technical control. For now I’ll keep hammering away on my les paul. Great video, pure enjoyed watching it
Dobra tehnika i velika mogućnost kreiranja muzike tonova.soliranja akorda i redom. Brajane prestajao si. Hvala na prikazu. Veliki si majstor maksimalno iskusan 💖💖💖
Seriously impressive. A lot of players can match Brian's level as far as raw technicality is concerned, but matching him 100% in dynamic control and picking technique with a sixpence? I don't know that you've managed that... but you're by far the closest I've ever heard, at least in spirit. There are obviously little things that Brian does differently, but if you'd wanted to copy him exactly, you probably could have. This is more like a very intentional tribute, to play that set list like Brian might have on a different day of the week!
Amazing as usual! I wish I could do in 20 takes what you do in 1... Your tones are fantastic, even though I prefer hearing you through real amps: more grain and gain to my ears. I really hope Dr May is watching you: you deserve it.
Damn dude that is freaking impressive I will give you that! Scary how close you get to playing like Brian May. That must have taken a lot of effort. Did you not lose yourself as a guitarist while doing this? This is like recreating a famous painting. you'll get a lot of views and thumbs up on this one. I just feel like you could've put a lot of this effort elsewhere doing your own stuff my man. Freaking amazing guitar beast that you are. Where can I listen your own music? :)
i love how you’re wearing the same outfit as Brian, great playing!
Tone is in the clothes
@@MarcoGDiMarco or is it that you have brian’s hands 🤔
Both 4 me!🙌🤟
@@MarcoGDiMarco Tone wood? Nah bro, tone cotton
Same g tar too
My God, this is perfect playing, tone and clothes.

Same here. Before I knew it he was finished. I love Brian's style and this guy nailed it!
Oi look mate, alright, check this out you'll love this. You type in 58008 into a calculator, turn it upside down. Boobs.
Thank you so much!

If imitation is the most sincere form of flattery Brian May should feel very flattered. Amazing playing sir.
Thanks a lot!

Sensational! It's really interesting to see up close how few notes Brian plays on some songs. Just little accents here and there
this man really reminds me of brian may
I understand your passion for detail in the articulation for May's playing. I'm the same way with Mustaine's.
Well i am almost speechless. The playing, the volume control, the dinamics, even the cosmetic stuff...nothing short of awesome. Thanks a lot Marco!
Thanks!
I wish there be another live aid run by tribute bands with queen on fire 🔥
That's a great idea
E di colpo torniamo nel 1985 a quello stupendo concerto. Bravissimo!
Grazie!
Very well played - you perfectly captured Brian's tone and playing nuances.
Awesome!! I asked you a few months about doing a “one take” of the Hammer to Fall from Live Aid. You did the entire show🤯!! Too cool!!
Impressionnant…!!
Bravo pour cette performance !
HOW DOES THIS NOT GET ONE MILLION VIEWS?!?????!???

Ah live aid😍 well great stuff!!!
Im astounded as always. Great work. Makes me really wanna pick up one of those Brian replicas.
creo que tocar completamente esa guitarra es como empezar de nuevo! genial amigo.
I like how you got all the clothes he had on the day, even the apple watch!
The Apple Watch was brought in 1985 on stage with a DeLorean you know...
Camera pans up and it's Brian May all along
Ahahahahah! Thanks
Great sound integration with the live song!👍
Thanks Doc
