I don't usually comment on videos, but this one is great! I've seen some of your guitar covers before, and I have to say the quality of this video is amazing. Great job!
Not really no, this exact model was designed to match the 80’s era of the guitar, so which at the time the fuzz hole was just covered with a piece of black tape. Not really a fan of the star
Big mistake using 57s for recording/miking an AC 30! They need big diaphragm microphones! Which is why Brian uses a Neumann U47! For some reason a small diaphragm mic can't capture the sound completely, and makes it sound absolutely horrible!... Being said up front, however, very nice playing, and it looks spectacular! And the pickups sound ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a set in mine!!!!!!!!!!! AND, YOU JUST CAN'T GET BETTER ONES!!!!!!!!!!! VERY NICELY DONE!!!!!!!!!!... By the way, I'm a cobber Chum of Mark Reynolds...
Yes you are correct on the Needing a condenser mic.. at the moment I’m upgrading to the sennheiser e906 ‘s. The good thing is, My final Results didn’t come in sounding “Horrible”.. but I get what you mean ;) Thanks for watching 😃
@@RedSpecialTribute ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!! It did NOT come out bad!!!!!!!!!! I've had several REALLY BAD EXPERIENCES playing out with a rented sound companies, who dropped a 57 in front of my amp!!!!!!!!!! I have a great friend who is a drummer, guitarist, plays bass and keyboards, and who is also a sound engineer who trained at the institute of audio research in New York City in the late '70s, and studied miking technique with Eddie Offord!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY NEED BIG DIAPHRAGM MICROPHONES on an AC 30!!!!!!!!!!!

Really nice video!! Wanted to ask you, did you add any effect on the recorded track of your Bohemian Rhapsody solo?
The solo was actually recorded differently to the rest of the tracks. It was recorded by placing the mic behind the amp cabinet!
Ok this great
