Hi i have a question i dont know if you know but i have a golf 6 2010 with the old gear shift knob but i want to install the golf r golf 6 gear shift knob can you do that? And maybe can you make a tutorial because i never found something of that on youtube and allot of people are asking that !!
Wonderful video. So I have an actual problem with my shifter. Does your video mean that you can't fully squeeze out the left side, the button you have to press to switch the gears, because there is a small mechanical spring inside that keeps the button on tension? Because I have the inside of the knob in my hand and here is a small mechanical spring and I don't know exactly where the spring is hooked back in. My girlfriend had accidentally pushed both sides in while operating the gearshift and then suddenly pushed the knob out. And now we have the interior of the knob in my hands and I'm trying to figure out how exactly to fix it together again. Hope you can help me as fast as you can, even if this video is one year old now.

So I managed to break 3 of these at the junk yard. Maybe now I will be able to bring one home I van use. Thank you
