- This is my basic review of how I installed the BOSS MC500 system. I did not want to do a lot of cutting or make this more complicated than it needed to be. I also wanted to find a way to hide the amp, but still make it accessible. Using a fork bag allowed me to conceal and protect the amp as well as make the install very easy.
Overall performance is fantastic! For $80, found on Amazon...this is a great investment. - เพลง
Just installed this today on my 04 sportster 883 it sounds great
I love mine. ..we wired and mounted mine in my amp in the saddle bags ...plus you need a switch to turn them off when ur not on the bike... they pull power from the battery when it's not on... toggle switch works wonders..
Why didnt you wire to the fuse like it suggests lol? To igniton switch
I just wish some one made a nice unit that looked good, is waterproof, made to mount on the handlebars of most bikes, and was reasonably priced. I like the MC400 unit for the wired remote volume control that mounts on the handlebars.
Boss makes a great system. Their speakers sound better than I figured they would being only 4". They really belt out the sound, even at 70+ mph!! You will have no problem hearing these where ever you ride. I highly recommend the Boss sound systems and no, I don't work for the company or are affiliated with them in any way. I'm just a satisfied customer.
Do you have a windsheild also what bike im worried with no windshield and on the freeway at 70 75 they will be pointless
@@trevorsimpson7622 Yes I have a windshield so without one, you probably wouldn't hear the speakers as well. I do hear them well withmy helmet on however.
Where did you source the fork bag? I'd like to put this on my Heritage. Great video!

i have the same motorcycle than you and i was looking for that kit but i find the boss 650 so i preferd that one, has 1200 watt and have 4 speakers! 80 dollars too
I installed some Rockville on my bike and dam they are loud
can you still hear them good above 60mph ?

No. You shouldn't play music for long periods of time when the bike isn't running.
I need to increase the cable lenth for the speaker, can I do it or I will damage / impair the sound quality ?
A short distance like that won't have an effect on the sound quality.

I don't have them anymore. But, I recall them being 4 inch.

rounak saini To and extent, yes. They are more water resistant. The way they are designed, intentional or not, you can easily twist them to face the speakers downward to prevent water from getting inside in the event of a downpour.
