  • Me and my buddy, Loen, debaffled my Vulcan 900. This is a short video that I made for comparison purposes.
We drilled 8 10mm holes in each baffle. Never been much of a gear head so this was a good exercise for me!

    Saludos.

Sounds good at idling and when you speed up it sounds like a hog scream.

Yup. It was an experiment for me. The 900 doesn't have a lot of bottom sound. So this was a partial debaffle not a full one. It rips though!

But you left the baffles in. Have you removed them completely since this video?

Left them in. My goal was more sound but not too much to anger Trafikverket (the national Swedish traffic board)

wish he shown best way to cut pipes on an angle and wat tool?...thought it would be louder....

Used a Reciprocating saw to cut the pipes. The sound is a bit louder but this mod gives the bike more of a low rumble rather than more volume in my opinion

Oh man, don't remember. You could always start small and work your way up I suppose.

do you have to adjust the fuel injection to compensate for the extra air escaping??? will it run rich???

    • @zaewin
      @zaewin 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Nope, no adjustments. As far as I know, the lambda probes take care of the FI so no adjustments are necessary if you leave them in.

Aik Stok I don't know, haven't really felt any difference in ride comfort. Wind is worse haha. But each to their own I guess! :)
