This is my basic review of how I installed the BOSS MC500 system. I did not want to do a lot of cutting or make this more complicated than it needed to be. I also wanted to find a way to hide the amp, but still make it accessible. Using a fork bag allowed me to conceal and protect the amp as well as make the install very easy. Just bought the Air Hogs Havoc Heli. It was on;y $20, figured it was worth a try. Not bad. A little eratic, but you can keep in in a room without hitting the walls. After some practice, I am sure I will get better.
Where did you source the fork bag? I'd like to put this on my Heritage. Great video!
I bought a set of speakers like that chrome chrome is peeling off half the time it will work and don’t work so I will never buy another set from this company

I wouldn't call it an issue. Any bike will pop when engine breaking. I like the sound of it. As long as we aren't in a residential area.

No. You shouldn't play music for long periods of time when the bike isn't running.
I need to increase the cable lenth for the speaker, can I do it or I will damage / impair the sound quality ?
A short distance like that won't have an effect on the sound quality.
I noticed these comment are 8 to 12 months old, how have the pipes held up since installed and are you still satisfied with the purchase?
They are holding up great! Still very happy with the purchase.

Boss makes a great system. Their speakers sound better than I figured they would being only 4". They really belt out the sound, even at 70+ mph!! You will have no problem hearing these where ever you ride. I highly recommend the Boss sound systems and no, I don't work for the company or are affiliated with them in any way. I'm just a satisfied customer.
Do you have a windsheild also what bike im worried with no windshield and on the freeway at 70 75 they will be pointless
@@trevorsimpson7622 Yes I have a windshield so without one, you probably wouldn't hear the speakers as well. I do hear them well withmy helmet on however.

Ordered some for my RK
I just wish some one made a nice unit that looked good, is waterproof, made to mount on the handlebars of most bikes, and was reasonably priced. I like the MC400 unit for the wired remote volume control that mounts on the handlebars.

i have a '13 electra glide with stock pipes and am interested in improving the sound without spending an arm & a leg for v&h or rineharts. Have you had enough time to decide whether youre completely happy with the megaphones?
quito2382 Sure have. And there are absolutely no regrets. Every time I fire up the bike, I am reminded that is was a great choice.

I love mine. ..we wired and mounted mine in my amp in the saddle bags ...plus you need a switch to turn them off when ur not on the bike... they pull power from the battery when it's not on... toggle switch works wonders..

rounak saini To and extent, yes. They are more water resistant. The way they are designed, intentional or not, you can easily twist them to face the speakers downward to prevent water from getting inside in the event of a downpour.
Derrick Davis brother we live in INDIA, so here you'll find ROYAL ENFIELDs MORE than HARLEYS Will they fit on ROYAL ENFIELD THUNDERBIRD.. IF you haven't seen a RE THUNDERBIRD so check it out IF it's available/fit then I would probably buy one of these...
