@@CCMotorizedWe have 2 Golfs in family. My former Golf GT R-Line MK6 is owned by parents, GT model only have 1.4 litre & 160 hp wth super tiny airbox n some sucky combo of supercharger. After that we kept it, dad owns it n is happy wth it. Looks awesome in deep black pearl tho. That was ordered 2012 fr VW factory. Then in 2017 i bought the Golf GTI Clubsport MK7 also speced from factory. Its Stage 1 with is38, on a custom turbo back: Invidia dp on sportcat, and cobra sport nonres catback: That combo Sounds bl**dy marvelous on the deep end! Anyway, would be cool to compare to yours as ithink it shud be pushing 380 hp as well. I still think u may be faster as ur Stage 3 though, + aton of breathing pipe work! 😂 But yeah its a MK7 though. Anyway total props & credits for an amazing build & dedication V-Dub brother! Beautiful Work! ☺️ 👍

I currently drive a 2019 GTI, S, dsg. Completely stock, it’s fast enough for me and the state troopers in Florida 🌴! Oh, did mention, I’m 80 years old. Great car, video, and build ! Thanks, RickGTI….. 🇺🇸
Mk6 GTI has been my dreamcar ever since i got into cars, currently own mine for 3 years and it's stage 2 tuned, seeing all the awesome Mk6's on TH-cam is realy making me jelous about all the high hp Golf's out there, i need to go stage 3 aswell at some point the current 300hp is allot of fun but 50 extra would make me fall in love again xD
how has reliability been over 3 years?
dont go stage 3 reliability goes to shit and u have a ton of turbo lag
i have a stage 3 mk6 gti and its not fun to drive anymore
question what mods you have for stage 2? I have read just going aftermarket dp only is okay but wondering if I should be worried about any other mods for stage 2
@@luketexas intake and exhaust would help but i dont think u need anything other than an intake for stage 2

If he's at 380, I have to be near 500 😂 I'm fully built. 83mm bore, IE pistions, rods and springs, ferrea valves, IE mani, IE k04, DSG and mani tunes, cts intake, cts TBE, cts intercooler cts rad and ecs catch can. Also, sitting on silvers nexomax coilovers, superpro sway bars and superpro endlinks. I need to put mine on the dyno asap.
Bro, I have a stage 2 mk6 with a k04 (to be swapped to a 650 unit), all original pipes (charge pipes, etc) and I'm making 382 bhp and 401 lbs/ft of Torque, there's no way his car is making those numbers if it is a Stage III

nice build and really clean car! really like it :D how is your car driving with al that powerflex inserts? i only have now the bottom one in the subframe where the dogbone is. but its really ratle when driving backward. or do you advice to do the uper inserts also? i got an ed35 stage2+ TVS engine and dgs software with 380 hp an 530nm. or are my upper engine mounts on his end?

Them clutches are still slipping bro more clamping pressure needed. I have a hybrid ko4 on my a3 tsi quattro with stage 1 dsg tune and all is well.
I have a mk6 wolfsburg haven't tuned yet I have a dp so far but I love the car
random but do you where he got the paddle shifter extensions or replacement from? I haven't found any good ones for mk6 really
I have my mk6 gti. And today just finished putting on Bilstein B6 shocks with 20mm lowering springs! Dont want to go coilovers mainly because it is a daily car and dont want to sacrifice comfort. It has some small mods including exhaust downpipe intake and a tune. As well as r8 coils the car currently produces 260hp on a stage 1+
How is the sound with a downpipe? I'm debating getting one with 200cel cat (needed for MOT) but they are pretty expensive. I just fitted Passat control arms (aluminium) and S3 bushings. Made a lot of difference and the unsprung weight is noticeable. If I want other springs/coils I will go for the KW variant 1.
the sound is more pronounced and is better overall. I got a X-Force downpipe ( I am in NZ ) and when it was on the dyno the HP rating was about 15hp

Mine is stage 2 and i want to go stage 3 aswell now that i got used to the current horses XD But i'm doing cosmetic work first and i need to get a daily becouse stage 3 daily with short commutes wont do the engine any good XD

Every build is diff
Maybe the clutches were slipping so they had to turn the torque down
All the dsg drivers look bored glad I have a manual
It's a misconception, I thought I'd hate DSG, ended up loving it and the farts, videos don't do them justice in regards to feel/sounds etc
manual is slow asf
An overpowered fwd car is never fun.
