    This video series has helped me a lot with my build thanks for putting it up. I've tried running a 42 mm aftermarket carburetor to my 300cc and it didn't have the best of effects on the performance I know that's quite oversized for the engine is anyone here running a larger carb successfully?

    The issue is that I am 60 this year and although I thought I would never say this, I am happy it reaches 70 mph it could do more however I did all this to make it sound and feel like an old British thumper and it does. So I won’t put it on a Dino I am happy with how it feels. Many thanks for your interest.

      Wow 70 mph. That is good to hear. Getting close to 60 too. But 70 is a good cruizing speed for trip to Sweden from Holland. Thanks.👍

    Glad you found this useful, I kept with the standard carb and a slightly filed out main jet, it has worked fine. Good luck with finding a solution.

    Hello Mr Mark, again I want to say thank you for this education video. I tried to install a big bore cylinder myself but unfortunately I had to abort the mission, and when I put the old cylinder back and everything else together the bike won't start. The electric part is ok and it made some noise but the engine just won't crank up. I think the timing chain is not properly timed/ tensioned. Any suggestion? I have a Suzuki Marauder 125 year 2010. Any comment will be appreciated, thanks and Happy New Year.

    How we men suffer, she is now hinting about getting a motorhome, that blows any future build for the moment.

    hi please do you know how i can set up the clutch command because he is accroching too late i want it more short . the cable is at the maximum . maybe i can set up the command on the box?

    • @TheSilviu8x
      @TheSilviu8x 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to lose the cable, not tighten it. It must have a half of inch of free play, at the end of the handle leverage.
      Also, the best way is to put into first gear, engine off and push it with your feet, you can understand clearly how and where it grabs..

    The best way is to go on e bay and see if their is a kit, they tend to come from China and work well. Secondly go on TH-cam and see if anyone has done this before. Good luck.

      Good question, I replaced the clutch and installed heavy duty springs that are available on e bay, works fine.

    Полезный апгрейд, но хотелось бы это видеть в одном видео, а не в пяти. Очень много приходилось перематывать. Но за работу 👍 Себе тоже хочу, но путем установки гильзы от гольф 3 и с головой на 2 клапана, а не 4.

      Голова на 2 клапана лучше чем голова на 4 клапана?
