Brian 😎 with another Great video asphalt millings that's the Best material for a driveway right there 👍 Thank U Brian for the Great video 👍
Thanks Junia! I agree with the driveway comment. My current driveway is asphalt millings I put down 4 years ago
Funny how that giant machine has a roadrunner horn😂
Meep, meep! 😂
Those punisher stickers on the back are badass
I thought so too! They really fit the machine.
I only see Wirtgen road millers used in my area (silver spring Maryland)
We have a lot of those and a lot of Roadtec's here in Michigan.
Thats because wirtgen are wayyy better machines than roadtec 😂😂😂😂(seriously)
Whitmore Lake Road reconstruction at I-96. Nice! I think there was PCC under that too.
I believe you are correct on that.
Good video! 👊
Thanks man!
Awesome machine! Nice find Bryan. I hope to find a few of these this summer too.
Tasks Allen! These are super impressive machines to be around. You feel the sound in your chest.
Always great videos Bryan!!
Thank you! This was one of my old customers that I stumbled across working in the area.
That’s a cool machine! I’ve never seen one that big... around our area they seem to use a smaller version 🤷🏼♂️ I also thought the punisher stickers on the back were pretty cool for that type of machine 😂 great video as always man!
These are badass machines. This one packs over 900 horsepower and can mill 14 inches deep in one pass. I totally agree, The Punisher stickers are awesome on these machines. Thanks for watching Brayden
@@DieselandIron geez. 900 horsies 🤣😳
@@braydentilley4036 oh ya, these mills are absolute beasts. They have belts that are made of Kevlar that are over a foot wide driving that drum
@@DieselandIron holy smokes! This is one thing I absolutely love about your channel... you’re always so communicative and always are willing to have a conversation with each of us who comment! It’s weird but I feel like I know you and that I’ve met you just because you talk to each of us, this is how channels should be!
@@braydentilley4036 thanks Brayden! I try to keep up with everyone! One of these days we will cross paths at conexpo or something and I'll be sure to shake your hand in person my man.
Very nice job
The Beast Milling Machine Roadtech 900 very rare
What an awesome machine. Love to see those with a 12 footer on it
I'll have to see if anyone has a 12 footer in the area. Thanks for watching!
Love it great job!!,🤫🔴🫢
Bad ass fawking job!
This was an awesome machine to watch!
I find their horn system odd. Ours was 1 stop, 2 forward, 3 reverse, 4 reposition.
Like everything else in this industry, it depends on the job, the operator and the situation. I've seen all sorts of different honk techniques used. Thanks for watching!
I agree. That one was my favourite in the cut loading wiggles with a JD470. I rarely needed to clog the radio with explanations. It was nearly seemless.
That was kinda cool
These machines are incredibly impressive. They can mill 14 inches of asphalt in one pass and this particular machine has over 900hp.
The people I hire out to do this type of work this is what we call demolition milling taking it all the way to stone I know everyone works differently but we normally have a grond person on each side keeping an eye on things why do you ask if you watch the side plate on the unmanned side in the start its going under the old asphalt and ripping it up this is how stuff gets tore up and if you watch the front tracks they are slipping usually the rear mold board is digging in the back and has too much down presure and neeeds to be raised up a bit and i see they have a tow bar hooked up to the water truck s they don't have to stop to refill with water this is different and like I said everyone works differently but that puts alot of extra weight the machine is pulling when milling I'd think it puts alot of extra wear on the final drives especially pulling hills and going down a grade but like I said everyone does things their own way
Most of these crews will run two ground guys but when they are spread thin they will only have one ground man. Normally they only do it on jobs like this where the operator can see one side of the cut.
For water trucks we used tow straps that were hooked up to the back of the machine. Operator stops to send a truck, where truck pulls up, hooks up tow strap, hose, and fire up the pump. Then when it's full you unhook, and send the water truck driver to fill up.
Michigan roads in need of repair big time
Amen brother!
I saw one of these roaming in my neighborhood.....it was chewing up the road!!!!
They are animals!
Love it !!!,🤫🔴🫢
Thanks for watching!

Why have 900 HP and not use it. Lean into it!
This is definitely an industry that requires mental toughness as much as physical toughness. Long hours and getting yelled at take a toll on your mind. You have to be able to push through because tomorrow will be better.
@@DieselandIronthe dpshts doing the yelling are the ones who can’t take pressure. Great video btw!
Roadtec junk 👎🏽
