Nice video.I have heard of these Compactashalt machines but never seen one in person.Laying a binder course and top course at one time is the way to do it for sure. Having them two courses compacted when hot is great. Being able to supply both materials at the same time would be the trick. Great vid though
Highways England/Balfour Beatty should watch this and get their calculators out!
Swamp the site with some decent machinery and labour and get the job done in a fraction of the time.

Magyarországon is ilyen gyorsan és profi minőségben kellene az aszfaltozást végezni! Volna még mit tanulnunk a németektől! ( nem csak a fizetések összegében!)
+Szabolcs Buzai helló! Igen, ez lehet. De mint gyorsabb aszfalt útburkolat ebben az országban nem szabványos. Ennek segítségével Magyarország tekintetében foglalkozik menekültek továbbra is sokat kell tanulni. ;-)

Are those the correct rolling patterns? Here in the US they always seem to roll in straight patterns back and forth.
Well, in this case of compactasphalt they roll criss cross and straight.

interessantes video! kann mir jemand sagen warum die Walzen so fahren wie sie fahren? Also warum nicht geradlinig sondern mit Schwenkern?
Weil der Belag noch so weich sei und später walzt man noch anders. Also die kleinen leichteren Walzen müssen wohl am Anfang so walzen, hat mir der BL erklärt.

+ruehl manfred Ich denke bei der Arbeitsbreite ist ein großer Vorratsbehälter notwendig, der scheinbar eine zu hohe Ladekante hat, als dass die Kipper da direkt ran könnten. Deswegen wohl die Maschine mit dem Förderband davor.
+ruehl manfred Zum Teil werden Beschicker auch gebraucht, dass die Einbaumaschine immer gleichmässig vorwärtsfahren kann, ohne gross auf den Lastwagen achten zu müssen.

I think they need Bigger compactors ?
The compactors are selected by their weight. And the weight is important for the best result. Too much is too bad. And the small one for the finsih is selected by the engeneers.
Where is on there place to mage aspahalt sausage?
They transported it from two asphalt factories by a huge truck fleet.
