From Kanto's Pallet Town, to Johto's New Bark, to Hoenn's Little Root, to Sinnoh's Twinleaf, to Unova's Nuvema, and finally at Kalos's Vaniville... Pokemon was a journey. Definitely one to remember.

Kyle you are amazing, you just took me through a nostalgic journey from when I was back in primary school as a 7 year old embarking on her first pokémon journey (Blue version) to where I am now, a 25 year old who still feels the magic of pokémon. The opening almost made me cry, I remember receiving my first squirtle and it was the most amazing thing ever. Route 4 always gets to me, It always makes me picture a nice sunny day, a good day for adventure. It feels just like seeing the sun again after a long dark period (which is partially true, since it's the song that plays after you're in Mt. Moon). Pokemon League (Night Version) was such an emotional moment for me in the game. I remember scaling up the long waterfall just to end up at the top of Sinnoh looking down on everything. I could only imagine that if I was actually in the game, that would be the perfect moment to reminisce on everything i've gone through, and how far i've gone. Hahah enough with me rambling, I can go on forever. This is just my way of saying I appreciate this medley to the utmost of my ability to do so. Thank you

I remember having all the music stuck in my head all the time, but after watching this video, my imagination went wild. The music started to sound less like synths and more like real instruments to me. It inspired me to start trying to learn them myself on piano. I would come back and listen to this every day, trying to figure out what all the songs were. Then many years later, long after I had started my journey into music, I remembered this video but couldn't find it for the longest time. Just a few short years ago I found it again and added it to as many playlists as possible and saved the video in case it ever got removed. Even now, nearly 15 years after this video was originally posted, I still come back to it to listen because even though I can play it myself, nobody gives it as much feeling as you do. This is, hands down, my favorite video on all of TH-cam and always will be. Thank you for inspiring me and so many others to learn about music through something so universal as Pokemon. This actually made me cry. I remember my first time playing one of the best games of all time (Pokémon Blue) and starting my journey with my first ever pokemon Buddy (Squirtle) I was only a little boy and now 10 years later it bought back all those good memories of playing pokemon. Nothing was better. My Gameboy and I were inseparable. Thanks for taking me back on the S.S. Anne, sailing through memory lane. A well deserved cry :) P.S - You're an awesome pianist. Justin Farber I'm really considering it... I think I'll take a few piano lessons... to improve further.. play both clefs for the piano... I rarely attempt both clefs at once right now, just the treble mainly but some begin with the bass

(theres a total of 8, with 5 you can already be a music teacher at normal schools aniway lol) thing is, it is amazing. addictive. once you start. because soon after, you will finally realize you wount have the time to play what you WANT to play, because you just have so much to study. i'm not trying to be a stinker here, or trying to demotivate you, no! but be warned... if you ever feel like it is getting boring, TALK WITH YOUR TEACHER. politely explain the situation. ask for a music that you enjoy more. dont force yourself into playing like i did - as a result, i can barely enjoy playing stuff i like, not even Kingdom Hearts gives me pleasure anymore :( (amazing piano themes by the way!) but yeah, give it a try! you will certainly enjoy it, at least for some good 3 years you will completely fall in love with it.
just hearing all of this beautiful piano music. it takes me back to the old days when everything was simple. as a child. when all i had to do was sit back, do nothing, and let the music take my heart away. hearing all these great songs for the first time was the best experience.

Anyway i wanna say, You've helped me grow so much as a musician, i'm sure you get that from a lot of ppl, but for me i would say it's a bit more to heart because I considered myself to be in a dark place at one time. Even though i've always kinda played piano periodicly, nobody really inspired me to become better quite like the way you did. Now a days i find myself out of that dark place i once was in, and i must say you've helped me more than you'll ever know. Kyle, if you read this, you dont have to say anything, just know you changed someone's life. Thank you.
that was awesome iv played piano my whole life and never would i hear the classic Pokemon songs in one beautiful melody. i grew up playing Pokemon since i was born and this really touched my heart your awesome.
