Your most emotional pieces are some that are incomparable to most versions out there; teaching and showing everyone how to match accuracy and beauty while still creating some of the most technically demanding covers out there. Your work is so crisp that many yearn for that precision with the pedal, keys, transcriptions. You have inspired hundreds, possibly thousands (easily) to play the piano. Pick up a keyboard, search for teachers, download sheet music. Myself included. I feel invincible when I play your music on stage. I'm never scared now. But why? Why? It's because I know how selfish it would be to not be more excited to show the world your music from my fingers. I speak for myself and the majority when it comes to thanking you, thanking you for the community that you and many others have created, from almost nothing. Anime Nerd I can relate , I have been playing the piano for a few years and these days , it's more of a task than a hobby so I lose interest and my music sounds rather expressionless but when I watch this inspiring man play, I feel that urge to try harder so I can reach that level. Yeah same here. Even though I started to play the No Game No Life Arrangement two weeks ago, I already feel... kind of invincible, sort of proud. No idea how to describe that feeling. The piece makes me sit down for hours and just practice it and even those nasty finger exercises. One time I want to play Jiyuu no Tsubasa on stage, that is my dream.

I’m here, 8 months later, after finally building my first PC and playing this beautiful masterpiece... Now that I know the game, the story and the soundtrack, I can finally cry on your cover. It was sad even before, but I couldn’t understand why... but now I do.

Nier: Automata is a very underrated game. The main aspect that makes this game truly unique is its soundtrack. One of the best soundtracks in my opinion. I'm glad you acknowledged the work of Keiichi Okabe and the other composers. Keep it up!
Nier Automata is not underrated. It is overlooked because of other games that came up around the same time, which is a bit different. It was still highly appreciated especially in Japan. The underrated game is Nier Gestalt, though it gained a cult following after.

Nier: Automata's soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in a video game so seeing Animenz finally uploading this video had me literally screaming when I saw the notification, haha. Really excited to see future videos, especially around the Spring 2018 anime season when so many anticipated anime will be aired accompanied by great sounding OSTs (hopefully). I had no idea you were doing a Nier: Automata series. Man, 15min flew by in 2 seconds. This is my favorite thing you've done, and I've watched everything you've made about 100 times at least. You gave me chills during this piece about 20 times! It's so good to have you back and I can't wait for your other Nier: Automata pieces! I loved that game so much and it's baller OST.
It is remarkable how playing the game changes your view of the music... To be frank, when I watched your video for the first time, I had not yet played the game, and while the songs certainly are beautiful, it didn't move me that much. Having now finished the game and watching your video again, I can not find the words to express what I'm feeling right now. Thank you for your work, Animenz. I am really disappointed that I will not get to have the sheets for those pieces, but at least I can listen to my heart's content.
I know this is 3 years old but I find these songs to be quite moving even if you don't know the context. I do of course know the context, this game is my favorite thing in life. My prized experience. I think the more emotional songs are more than enough to move the uninitiated. It's just that when you have actually played the game, these songs have the power of making you break down crying hysterically if you aren't prepared.
I played the first one and completed all four endings and fell in love with the series. Now I have the second one (which I still need to start) but with this music you can tell it's going to be a joy ride. It's so beautiful!

4 years later, this game is still in my favorites list of all time. These arrangements hit the heart directly. I still get goosebumps from each and every single song, especially that one song “mourning”, during a specific sidequest (that I’m not going to mention for spoilers but the people who get it, get it) that literally hits so so hard.
