Thanks for reviewing these, Ricardo! Great job. I literally just brought a pair of these a couple of weeks ago. Spent around 20 hours in them and learned basics of skating turning and stopping. Realised I was interested in doing this properly and spent a load of cash on a pair of fr1 90's! These skates allowed me to test the water and workout what I wanted from a pair of skates which was for me, smooth rolling urban skating. In summary, they are basic fitness skates with a weird combination of long wheel base and small soft wheels. Adequate for the beginner or occasional skater. As i'm neither poor nor rich, these skates have allowed me to save money through building real skating experience which has meant that I have made the right decision for my "proper" skates. For this they have my 💘! If you think you might like skating, just go get some!!! Thank you decathlon! Oh and mine have a very slight rocker, front and back would spin on a flat surface, did yours RL?
Truth is, the skates are not the best (maybe the best you can get for 50€) but decathlon got me into skating a couple years back, and now it's a big part of my life. All new skaters in Lisbon begin with Decathlon skates and then get proper skates at a real skateshop so the overall target audience for skateshops increases
@@akiyamato3299 that's literally not how thing work tbh, you need to try things to know and the quality of something can very much dictate how one will enjoy something.
These skates is super fun!! Feels like you have suspension below your feet!! You dont need to worry whether your feet are wide or narrow!! Just bought it yesterday at decathlon!
Thanks for the review, I just got a pair of these. I'm a beginner that suffers from what you said 9:57 about feet not lining up correctly. It's really difficult for me to put the power down because my ankles tend to bow outwards, causing pain along my shins. I've snowboarded for years and it reminds me of my early days. Hopefully with more practice/strengthening it'll go away. Thanks again, keep up the good work with your channel!
Can I use these skates to skate on the footpath. On germany the footpath is the place where cycles drive and people walk too. The main roads are for cars
Thanks! I just purchased these. Wish I saw your video first but I did purchase these mainly for the price to get back into skating. And thanks for the info on the helmet.
Another thing to take in mind about these skates is that if you are a heavy person, not only the wheel but the whole frame and boot is not gonna last for long if you skate alot. But they cost so little, you can always buy them new after a couple of month.
This really had to come out now when I already dropped 80 euros on a pair of skates + protective gear 😭. Edit: Glad I got a hard boot anyway. Also have it rockered to practice slalom tricks.
I have this exact pair in grey/mint version you mentioned but I didn't think the brake was functioning v well. It squeaks and doesn't exactly slows me down especially when i'm on inclines
Nice look at these Oxelos, Ricardo! I'm seriously impressed with quality of their skates. I've been bombing around on the MF500 for 6 months and they are lasting well. Have had a ton of comments about them too, there's defo a market for them, it's good to see.
Hi bro, i know it's a little late to ask. My EU size is 43. Do I need to take the exact size for this skates? Or need to take a little bigger? Include socks so I'm confused what size do i need to buy. Thank you for the help.
Hi there, great review tks! I have been using these skates for a couple of months now, and i feel that the left skate has an alignment problem, that’s what you talk about around half way through your video. If i look at the front view of the skate , the weels really look crooked, not perpendicular with the base of the boot. Could it be a problem with the skate? Or is it just my way of putting on/using them? I really enjoy skating, but i am getting this feeling that this is unbalancing me and it makes harder to progress as i’d like.. Thank you again for the review and complkiments for your channel, it’s hands down my favourite skating content!
Would suggest fit500 for a lot more comfortable experience. Overall there isn't much difference between them since both are meant for beginners- intermediate. 😃
what would you recommend for a beginner who wants to get into aggressive inline skating it doesn’t have to be affordable but it would be good if they were i just want some good skates for aggressive inline
Great review Ricardo! Got some - only because it was the only skate in Decathlon in my size. I'm a UK 10 but needed an 11! The 45 degree strap seems to have been improved since your review and is a polypropylene webbing type on mine - so not flimsy. Also, my skates are much firmer than yours. It was difficult to squeeze them - especially at the back of the heel area so don't know if they've improved them overall. Just getting back into skating after nearly 30 years and man, it is hard. I have less problems on ice.
I started skating again after 22 years because of Decathlon. They have good quality and value for money skates . Bought myself a Oxelo MF500 free ride with Abec 7 bearings and Fit100 for my wife (never skated before, wants to learn skating) MF500 is awesome nothing to complain. But FIT100 is not a good skate The skate has no support , not a good skate for beginners , someone who's never skated before. My wife severely sprained her ankle because of it. The plastic cuff is soft and moves too much no matter how she tightened it . The soft boot material expands after using it for 2 months around 8 times of skating session. The whole structure of the skates feels soft and wobbly it doesn't give you a good and secured fit. No ankle support at all. Not recommended for beginners . Decathlon / Oxelo should take note . Your skate is marketed as beginner skate. I returned the skates to Decathlon Malaysia and they let me do an exchange with any product in the store. You should review Oxelo 500
Same problem with me on the Fit100. But Decathlon India does not allow for returns if its been used even slightly. It wobbles a lot and feels like the alignment of the skates should be a bit inside. Feet moves around a lot inside and the shoe expanded within 2 days!! Unfortunately in India, we dont get good brands for inline skates and its not exactly cheap either.
Hi bro, i know it's a little late to ask. My EU size is 43. Do I need to take the exact size for this skates? Or need to take a little bigger? Include socks so I'm confused what size do i need to buy. Thank you for the help.

i bought these skates a few days ago. the arches in my feet started hurting after my first 10-minute try. Is it the wrong size? Is it my flat foot? Is it because my feet aren't yet adjusted to the weight of the skates? somebody help
Yea, you probably still need to let your feet muscles adjust to that new reality .. If the pain starts to appear later on the training session, then its the muscles and eventually will disappear. If the pain comes sooner and sooner (given a couple days of rest) then its something else

Hi Ricardo, thanx for the review. I got these the other day, and rode around 1 hour on it. They seem to have a problem, though. Or is it me?! Both feet and knees seem to thumble towards the outside, and that generates some pain after some time, because you constantly must be counteracting that force. It's seems to me that f the wheels line were more to the outside of the boot, instead of just being in the middle of it, you'd feel more well balanced. Have you experienced anything like this? I like the design, but why should there be green on the buckles & shoelaces (11.35), this is trivial but, well, annoying 🤣
