Merci Tiago! Je viens d'acheter le FR1 80. ça fait 12 ans que je ne roule plus et tes vidéos m'ont motivé à reprendre! j'espère que ça va revenir vite. Tu as gagné un nouvel abonné brésilien en France :)
I got a pair of Flying Eagle F5s for Christmas two years ago - brilliant skates! They have taken me from the early beginner stumbling stage all the way to starting to learn slalom, skating backwards and getting to grips with transitions and different stopping techniques. I use them for my commute to work! The frames allow for a flat or rockered setup and the boots are rigid, tough, adjustable and comfortable. Overall, I really recommend them. I am thinking of getting a second pair of skates but only because I want to try some tri-skates for my commute (faster) and keep my F5s rockered for slalom. The F5s are excellent and very good value too.
Got myself the frx80 thanks to your recommendation. Just started skating nearly a month ago and did my first crossover yesterday. Looking forward to getting better at skating backwards in this 2nd month hoping I'd nail my backwards crossovers.
Good video Tiago! I will always love my fr1's, they're a bit over 200 too, but so worth it. I agree about the FRX though, it's such a good skate for the price! I bought them for my niece.

I've watched this video like 3-4 times now. Little obsessive, but it's okay. Lol Thank you for your opinion. There are soooooo many options, and it was very overwhelming at first. I so appreciate you collating this list from your own experience. Thank you xinfinity! There are so few places in my area to buy skates, and none have a great selection, so I'm forced to buy online. This was super helpful. Peace, from WA state in the US, bro. 😊✌️
Great video. Really helped me understand what to look for. Just picked up a pair of Rollerblade RB cruiser inline skates. They are super comfy. Haven't skated in 20 years, but can't wait to get back into it. Thanks man. Keep up with the great videos. 👍👍
I'm getting back into it now and have no idea what to buy. I wasn't considering the RB Cruisers until I started seeing comments. Did you try other skates?

I have been using powerslide imperial for about 4 years its getting old, i want to get a triwheel and i want it to be pretty stiff and comfortable. How was your experience so far? I would be very happy if you can share your opinions, there is not much overviews about this skates.

Tiago as always great video! ..I bought my skates through "pro skater place", and I highly recommend them to anyone new thinking about buying from a good place. I went with the FR skates FR1 80 2019, and can I just say watching your videos is what motivated me to start skating, so my friend you are making a difference.😃 My question is how tight should the straps be for regular skating? I would also add Seba E3 80 which is pretty cheap. I personnally regret buying FR3 instead of FRX: more expensive for same use and comfort, the supposed advantage was the frame to be aligned more precisely but at the end it unscrews itself (without having touched it ever before) and sometimes you feel it while riding and you need to tighten it .. with a different (bigger) allen key.
If I have to choose... I will go for a pair of flying eagle. I have a pair of f3 origami and a friend a f5, and both we have tried Seba frx and fr1 and rollerblade twister and our conclusions are the same: you have a really good quality product which can compete with a 250 or more euros skates. Appreciate the video!!!

Thank you so much for this review! I used to play rollerhockey in the 1990's but have only skated a little since then, and not at all since I broke my old Rollerblade zetras a few years ago. So I want to get back into it. I'm going to get a pair of Flying Eagle F5's. They look like they'll be a good all around choice for hockey, skating through my city (Atlanta, GA, USA) with my friends who play roller derby, roller rinks, and I can get the Enkidu kit later if I decide I want to try out the skate park. Thank you again for the great info and your positive attitude. Merci beaucoup!

Great, thanks. I would love to get the fr ones but I don't know any place where I can find them and try them. But I'm gonna try the oxelo ones. As a complete beginner, at half the price, they seem a good choice. Thanks again. I'll watch more of your videos to learn how to use them :)

correction: you can buy the trinity adapter individually, don't have to buy the zoom just for that. In other news: i'm actually planning to switch my Powerslide Next to PS Zoom. Altough the Zoom is considered a lesser skate, it has the boot of the USD Sway, so it is slightly more relaxed fit and another important difference that the zoom shares the dual sizes with the imperial like 43/44 in contrast with the Next which is 42/43.
I found the same. I have the Next 42/43 and the Zoom 41/42. I need the width of 42 and the length of 41. I've seen some conflicting information. Were you able to heat mould the shell as well as the the liner?

I have wider feet and keep having to buy skates 2 sizes up. Please recommend a bramd that can accomodate my platypusness. I consider myself intermediate, been rolling for years
Experienced riders are more likely to perform new tricks, trying dangerous stunts, riding at higher speed, riding while holding cameras for social medias... and more prone to over confidence. I mean, experienced riders may experience perhaps, one or two mishaps in years of riding but these one or two mishaps can change their lifes forever man. A helmet is like an insurance or a health care plan. You have them hoping to never having to use. Crashing your car or finding out you have appendicitis and not having one and you're in trouble because everything is just fine until it's not. An experienced rider may never have to need a helmet but that one fuckup and thats it.
Doing a great job explaining inline skates. I was really into them 20 years ago when I was in college. Now I have a 15yo daughter that has really gotten into skating and she’s trying to talk me into getting a pair. I think I want a 3 wheel 100 or 110mm for better maneuverability and still have speed. What skate would you recommend? Aloha!!!
tiago might have a better recommendation but i can vouch for the FRX 310 (its the triwheel version of the FRX 80 Tiago recommended). i have a pair and they are fantastic!
That was awesome! 🤩Thank you.💖 Could you please give me some idea 💡 about shall I have to have skates with break or without? I'm about to buy my new skates. (I used to roller skating a long time ago)
I prefer recommendation from old video, i think they're cheaper. Still looking for this shoes because i think i want to back play this. I played this when i was still on elementary school or maybe kindergarten (?) I dont really remember, but its recreation type so i only know heel brake. Btw is Urban same as freestyle n freeride?
tiago i need help choosing between the zoom pro 80 and and the imperial one 80s.. i hear the imperials have a slim fit which is fine because my feet are slim and i like the look better. it costs just a bit more. is there any reason to not just pay a little more fo tthe imperial one 80s
I am using Oxelo MF500, 243mm frame with 80mm wheels. I was wondering can i replace with 76mm or smaller wheels or i should use the same size? It does written there the max. size is 80mm.
@@malinoafull the FRX fit my foot like a glove. I have 2 different models by them. I have moderately wide feet and they work great. The twister edge just didn't feel right.
Hey, I have a good question. My question is should I get the (FR FR1 80) or the (Seba FR1 80) one is made by (FR) and one is made by (Seba). But both of them have the same name (FR FR1). So I am stuck between if I should get the FR ones of the Seba ones. Thanks🙏🏻
Hi! They are basically the same skates! the fr boots moved to the FR brand, so if you want the newer ones , go with the FR ( even though there's almost no difference between the newer and previous model) but the Seba ones should be less expensive now! ✌🏼
Hi there! I’m looking at purchasing my first pair and am thinking the fr1 80s or Powerslide imperial 80. I’m also considering some triskate options as well, but am cautious since I’m a beginner. I’m 6’5 and have a size 13 us, and a very narrow foot with high arch. Any suggestion on a good boot/frame setup for me? I’m willing to customize to get the best feel. Any help is appreciated!
I just bought FR1 4x80mm. I just got fear they might get too big / im losing too much control because people are writing they are getting bigger over time.
Hey, I just turned 29 looking to get into Freeskating and have never done any inline skating. I'm trying to find a skate that has a wider fit as I normally wear 10.5 US and 2E Width (often). Any suggestions? Love the channel- Greatly appreciated!
i'd recommend the Rollerblade RB Cruiser cause their wide, but when you choose size don't go with the size of your shoe. measure your foot from the heel to toes and then pick the size. if you're interested for the skates i recommended use this chart for size www.rollerblade.com/files/15401/NEW_RB_size_chart_A4_RB.jpg
Haven't shopped in years, seems like everybody copies Seba these days (which is awesome, they understood something after all). Back in the day, before Seba , there were those 243mm short frame skate from Roces (urban or something like that) - I forget the name exactly; did those start this thing? I believe so. You might know the history better.
I realize that you've posted this ages ago, so fingers crossed that I get a reply. I noticed that you mentioned the FR Junior skates. I'm thinking about getting these for my 5 year old. Do you have any idea how the FR Juniors compare with other skates for kids? Like, I've seen that Powerslide has a bunch of kid-oriented skates.
Honest answer: I bought these skates for my little sister, and compared them to my personnal skates and I've been amazed at the build quality ; it's litterally the same as the adult models; excellent frames, very durable shell, and same liners, I actually like how clever they sorted the multiple sizes with a special footbed; really didn't regret my choice ( there is also a video where you can see my sister using them!)
Thanks for the quick reply and review! My kids loved the video with your little sister doing the cone courses. They were cheering for her to do the last one ☺️ I looked into the Seba Juniors and it turns out they don’t have them small enough for my little guy’s feet! Oh, well! Gotta find some other skates for him to jump and spin in, until he’s big enough for the FRJs. Wish there were more reviews of high quality kids skates!
What do you think of Bauer skates ? i want to start skating this year i have been going to the icehouse in my town for many years and i have bauer ice skates and they feel great, should i just start with some bauer skates or are they not as reliable as the ones you showed in this video ? help me pls XD
sofia stastny I don’t think he would as he’s an aggressive skater. Pretty much all of impalas skates are made of plastic leading them to break easier although they do look pretty
Hey Tiago, I just bought my first pair of skates (The Frx 80) a few weeks ago after watching your videos. One Question: Is it normal to feel a little pain in the feed as a bloody beginner? Or can I do something about it?
Katharina Wieland Hi! yes, it's normal; your feet are slowly getting used to your skates/or skating in general, and your skates are slowly taking the shape of your feet! a few years back, Seba's liners used to hurt more in the beginning hehe xD now their liners are more comfortable out of the box!
Hi Katharina, I noticed the same thing with my skates being very tight, but I did some research and it takes somewhere around 20 hours of skating for your foot to break in the new liner. At first I took my liner out and just wore it around the house. Haha ...but then I had an idea to put a "shoe tree" inside the liner in the skate over night and my feet don't hurt as much.
I recently bought the FRX 80 but the 13.5 US was far too narrow, so I went with the Rollerblade RB80 14US which is quite wide and seems more fitting for american feet. I was hoping the sizes of europe would accomodate wider feet.
@@bennyallen2009 Never got into them, I bought them but just never took the time or had the gumption to wear them out. I still have them, and they aren't tight, which makes me thing after wearing in would become loose, but yeah, I'm looking to sell them.
Why should the boots be hard and not soft? What about inlines for intermediate skaters? I also noticed you haven't recommended any K2 skates, how come?
Merci Tiago . Ce top est il toujours d actualité ? Je débute le roller .( J' ai actuellement des fitness rollerblade evo4) beaucoup conseil de débuter en freeskate . Du coup je lorgne .. mais perdu face à toutes les marques . Merci
As someone who just randomly got into inline skating and still doesnt understand brands and whatnot. Are fr skates a branch of seba because ive seen the fr frx and seba frx which look exactly the same and it confuses me. Also my first pair are the fr frx 80 shown in the videos and i have two questions: 1. Can a brake be attatched to the fr frx if so is there a specific brake i need to buy that is compatible. 2. The skates seem to fit perfectly but i have one problem. The ratcheted ankle cuffs only reach to the first or second tooth when i stretch them as far as i can. Is this a problem?
Hey tiago I have a question I just got a pair of RB 110 3wd as my first pair of skates and I been on them for about a month or so. Was looking into getting some 4 wheeled skates in the future hopefully by then I'll be more into the advance skill level of skating by then. What pair of skates would you recommend I give a look at for just some freestyle/urban skating around the city at that skill level? I like my 3wd skates but I find hitting stairs and keep my balance 100% of the time when I'm on one foot and doing some maneuvers really taxing with me being so high off the ground. Great video btw I'll be looking into some of these skates for my friends and family to get them started skating with me lol.
Hi. I'm looking forward to replace my old seba HL and RB Fusion. Do you know if PS Zooms can mount SSM frames after you remove the trinity adapter? I have some SSM frames and it would be shame to sell them

A helmet is like an insurance or a health care plan. You have them hoping to never having to use. Crashing your car or finding out you have appendicitis and not having one and you're in trouble because everything is just fine until it's not.
An experienced rider may never have to need a helmet but that one fuckup and thats it.
@@Lucas-ck1po yeah they should wear protection.
@@Lucas-ck1po atleast a helmet for sure
They think they can't get hurt
Thanks I’m new 2 skating and really want to get my first good skates, this really helps
Cool video and helpfull as always.
What are your top recommendations for advanced skaters? maybe top 5
🤩Thank you.💖
Could you please give me some idea 💡 about shall I have to have skates with break or without? I'm about to buy my new skates. (I used to roller skating a long time ago)
Oxelo mf 500 and 900s are like never in stock on decathlon, and they are the least expensive and best ones I could find in my country
Any comments about Fila nkr fun or Houdini? I'm thinking on buying either one of them or a Rollerblade RB Cruiser, what would you suggest?
tiago i need help choosing between the zoom pro 80 and and the imperial one 80s.. i hear the imperials have a slim fit which is fine because my feet are slim and i like the look better. it costs just a bit more. is there any reason to not just pay a little more fo tthe imperial one 80s
Does anybody have recommendations for adjustable skates (tiny feet) and budget for the US
I am using Oxelo MF500, 243mm frame with 80mm wheels. I was wondering can i replace with 76mm or smaller wheels or i should use the same size? It does written there the max. size is 80mm.
Great Recommendations! I just put in an order for FR skates FRX 80
Same here. Mine come in a week. Super excited. The rollerblade twister edge did not fit well in my foot.
@@gumbyKeys How does it feels? Are they for wider feet?
@@malinoafull the FRX fit my foot like a glove. I have 2 different models by them. I have moderately wide feet and they work great. The twister edge just didn't feel right.
@@gumbyKeys Thanks for the info. 😊 Mine are 10cm wide.
@@TiagoInlineSkaterI have no clue what size to get. Did you go up a size then your regular shoe? How does fr skates work with that?
Hi Tiago, nice vid! Which of these models would you recommend most for skating semi-long distances, lets say 10 km?
Hi Tiago, Do you recommend the Rollerblade RB Pro X for a wide foot?
Are u in class bruh
Any chance to adjust tge high of the first and the last roll on the frx 80?
The frx are double the price of the mf500. Is the expra price worth it? Considering that the mf500 now have 86a wheels.
They were cheering for her to do the last one ☺️
I looked into the Seba Juniors and it turns out they don’t have them small enough for my little guy’s feet!
I need a Good lightweight Inline skates.
Which are lightweight?
Recomiendas los renegade ??
hey tiago, what do you think of the impala lightspeed inline skates?
whats the difference between the Powerslide Zoom 80 and and the zoom 80 pros i cant seem to find the pros anywhere. so ended up with the regular
Do you like the impala lightspeed in-line skates?
sofia stastny I don’t think he would as he’s an aggressive skater. Pretty much all of impalas skates are made of plastic leading them to break easier although they do look pretty
Noticed you don't recommend any semi soft boots. Here in the US Decathlon only have the FIT 500 which is a soft boot and not MF 500
Can skates support 250 lb person? I want to pick up fitness outdoor hobby but concerned my weight is a factor
Hey Tiago,
I just bought my first pair of skates
(The Frx 80) a few weeks ago after watching your videos.
@@TiagoInlineSkater okay, thank you so much for answering :3
How do you recommend the rb80
@@bennyallen2009 Never got into them, I bought them but just never took the time or had the gumption to wear them out. I still have them, and they aren't tight, which makes me thing after wearing in would become loose, but yeah, I'm looking to sell them.
brother, você anda muito bem, sou seu fã!
um dia andarei como você!

Why should the boots be hard and not soft? What about inlines for intermediate skaters? I also noticed you haven't recommended any K2 skates, how come?
Is there a way to turn the fr frx 80 into aggressive or the 310 version by swapping the frame?
What are you think about flying eagle f4 raven
Hi Tiago. Do you know abaut Tempish Cronos skates? Are they any good? Thank you
This was really helpful especially since so many options are sold out.
Also my first pair are the fr frx 80 shown in the videos and i have two questions:
I have some SSM frames and it would be shame to sell them
Hey tiago i wanna ask u what is better the f2+ or f3 or someone but £109 like that?
Are there any skates that I can change between 3x123 to aggressive frames? I've never skated before Xp
Just got the FRX as a beginner! Good stuff and loving it!
I too am a beginner and I just put in the order a couple hours ago too!
