Cool video Josh! I think in this society of borrowing and paying everything up, people never stop to think for a minute about their outgoings. The more monthly costs you have the more stress people have of being a slave to their job etc. It's a vicious cycle that most folks cause themselves because they want to be seen as having this and that to impress people they don't even know. It's madness. More self-confidence and not giving a shit what others think, that's what I say!
Couldn’t agree more with you there. I’m just a huge fan of cars and always have been. People can choose what to spend they’re money on cant they so for me instead of going out partying, I like having a nice car

@@alanmakesfilm5253 i think youre absolutely correct. Unfortunately im a car guy, i dont buy cars to show off, i just enjoy nice driving cars. However, i am very much in agreement of avoiding being chained to a job by racking up financial commitments.
I used to think that, until I bought the BMW 330i... I had a 2009 Pontiac G6 and 07 Saturn Aura for about 6 years. when they finally shit the bed I decided to get a newer car until I saw payments on a 20k vehicle was like $400..... I figured if im gonna have payments I might as well get something I love.
and I LOVE this car, I could care less what others think of me, but I figured it was finally time to get something nice for myself.
I also love my job.... some people get nice things just because they can, but as someone who sells cars I see way to many people who make 5k put themselves in a 1000 payment.
Its heart breaking especially if its a single mom or something, like they're only a paycheck or so away from messing up their future
It's not even about that, but for some people, it might be different. Let's say: 1. You need a car. 2. If that car is the one youve always wanted, why not get it? And if you're going to spend money, why not do it on the one you want? when you know youll enjoy it, people say cars are liabilities Yes, it can be costly to have a car, but if it makes you happy and it's worth it, you're going to be working for a long time before you do something to reach that financial freedom. Anyways, why not do it while driving the car you love?
Been trying to see what is like to own a BMW 330i long term but all I find is videos from people who have a lease, is leasing the only good option to have a pleasant BMW experience?

The old 330 was an inline 6 and I think they really sing. My 21 year old S class merc is a V6 3.2, and it sounds lovely if your outside but inside it’s silent, as you’d expect from an S class. It’s a shame BMW have moved more towards 4pot engines as they just don’t sound the same. Either way, yours is a very nice car and I’m currently using my spare car which is a diesel fiesta as my merc is away having both outer sills replaced due to corrosion which is a pain 🙄. My merc has cost me a fortune in the last year as had air suspension issues and general servicing and of corse the fuel. It holds almost £100 and it’ll get through that in just over a week. So what I do, is not think about it at all!! 😂😂. I ran a garage for 10 years and mate, stick with the correct tyres recommended for your motor because it’s designed to perform best on what it was designed to have. Goodyear aren’t that good. Conti or Pirelli are a good second choice. 😉 take care bro

The reason I did not go for the 330e is that you get a smaller boot, the range for electric is something like 20-25 miles, I don't want to invest in a charge point at my home, the fastest charge point you can get for the 330e will take 3 hours to charge (for just 20-25 miles?) and finally that extra 42 BHP that gets you to 300 BHP only lasts for 10 seconds on the 330e.

More comfort and better ride in the BM but the S3 sounded better and was a bit quicker
My 08 gs450h does the same 0-60 and cost me 1/3 of the 24 month total. Wow leasing is expensive

I’m 27 and had both… if you’re not bothered about owning a car then lease all the way. Yes you’re just paying an amount each month to ‘rent’ it but then there’s no hassle at the end of the contract just give them the keys back.
