I just bought ones these on Saturday. Altitude X in bright white with the smaller 18 inch black wheels and 4x4. Dealer price was 50k and after rebates and just straight up negotiating, I walked out at 43k on it! All their systems being down currently sucked, but it definitely improved my bargaining power 🤣
Same thing here. $47.5k for mine got it for $38.9k out the door. So many rebates and deals they pushed and I am extremely happy with the price. I’d never pay $50k but $39k? Easy decision.
One thing to add. Those rear seats recline a ridiculous amount! Anybody can get comfy back there and they are super comfortable seats all around. The drive is also very very nice. Passenger seat is manual adjust. No front camera. No front parking sensor.
Went to 2 dealerships down here in Florida. These dealerships are still adding those stupid “market adjustment” fees. Trying to add an extra 3-4K on top of the price.
Come to CA. You’ll get one under sticker easily. Since gas is $5-6 a gallon no one really wants to buy anything that gets low gas mileage at the moment.
bought the wife a 23 Jeep GC Altitude in October 22. Have 32,000 miles with zero out of pocket costs thus far. Three complimentary oil changes and two recall issues covered by Stellantis. Averaging 23.5 mpg. Only complaint is the paint chips very easily from road debris. Other than that, very happy with purchase.
no fog lights, no HD radio, you also don't get the bigger screen w/ nav...those were all part of the altitude package back when I got mine in 2018, back then it was a great package that packed a whole lotta value, now it seems they've stripped it down to purely an appearance package
@@carterbishop2935 the sunroof is an extra, the regular Altitude does not come with it (hence the X), the heated seats/steering wheel they're part of the luxury package that's also available on the Laredo, so is the sunroof, they simply tagged it onto the price, then charged even more on top of it to have black wheels (18" stock, 20" costs extra), as for the leather, that is a very valid point since you cannot get them on the Laredo. My main point was though that back when I bought the 2018 the Altitude package came with all that plus the features I mentioned, and back then if you tried to equip the Laredo to a similar level it would have ended up costing bout the same if not more than the Altitude, which meant the Altitude package was an absolute steal, but now that value just isn't there anymore
Only thing is….just about every car will drive pretty good coming off the lot! What happens a few months/years down the line??? How long does that drive-off-the-lot feeling stay????….🤔🤔🤔👍🏽
The Wife just got one and it's actually really nice for the money. Only thing I don't like is there's no front parking sensor for when you get close to something? Figured that would be in there but it does have the full speed Collison deal which is nice.
I had a new grand Cherokee limited for about 22k miles and I liked it a lot. Drove it across country and the only complaint I have is the air conditioner is extremely weak if the outside temp is above 85 degrees. It was a deal breaker for me living in the hit humid south.
@@gyishin I have a 21 wrangler and a 23 ram classic at the moment and the ac is ice cold on both of those. Same as it was on my 21 challenger and 23 Durango. Chrysler knows how to make a good ac but whatever they went with on the new grand Cherokee is trash. Probably some sort of environmental decision or could just be cheapin out with the new design. Hopefully this isn’t how all Chrysler models will be after a refresh because I will definitely be leaving the brands if so.
@@alibazzi2730 Yes I had it on low and recirculate. Mine was the worst ac in any new car I’ve owned which is 18 vehicles since 2016. I also test drove a 2023 and the ac was garbage in it as well. Maybe they are better in the 2024s but I doubt it. Also summers where I live are regularly 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit so if your hottest days are only in the mid 80s that would be why you think the ac is acceptable
Have recently become a Jeep guy and bought my first jeep cherokee limited 4x4 w/ black and chrome. I love it. Although I really wanted a grand cherokee, I really like the new design bur why is this 51,000$ when the interior is nice but has half leather seats, a mid-small size infotainment system, and a minimalistic interior design? I see maybe because it's 4x4 but i do not see why paying over half a 100k is justifiable with the blackout package.
go drive a new Volvo xc90 base and then a new L. I was blown away at how cheap the “luxurious” Volvo felt in comparison. Yes, we drove the ultimate darks with the nicer stereos and seats. Jeep still killed it. 5th time customer.
We bought our a week ago same one as video can't say enough it's great for us I do agree ac seating would be nice our telluride has it but for the price can't go wrong thanks for the video.
I think these are about as "sexy" as the family station wagons I remember as a young child. But now they're getting so ridiculously discounted (the Altitude X package in particular) by some Jeep dealers around here that I'm tempted to get one. At least I'll have a station wagon with a warranty.
Either this guy is out to lunch, disconnected, or out of touch with reality. ..the freaking thing cost between 47-61k depending on how it is optioned. That's affordable? To who?
I don't understand why ANYONE thinks all chrome removed for black paint is cool! And pay extra for that! CDJR must love it all the way to the bank! And it is HOT temperature in the summer. Black seats are OK in northern Minnesota or Wisconsin! Anywhere else black seats are just bun warmers!
I agree with you 100%!!! I hate all the black. It looks like crap and they make you pay for it! I also absolutely hate all the black interiors. Can we bring back the tan or light gray leather??
Hey Ben, what is the difference in the Altitude vs Altitude X? It’s confusing! And is the Altitude X 4x4 a full time system, meaning is full time and behave like an AWD system? Jeep Quadra-Trac I info is a bit vague.
Just got a '24 Alt X version. Still figuring out the 4-wheel drive. Like how does one switch to 4-low if/when needed? Otherwise nice video and simple quick.

I wish Jeep include the bigger touchscreen standard on the Altitude trim which is my only grip - otherwise a nice vehicle.

I have a2014 limited with no front parking sensor. It blows my mind they're still not doing that
@derek7063 they do offer that now maybe even on the limited but this trim is a step down from limited trim.
Since when is 50 grand affordable?
Hahahahha right😅. Can’t even get a civic without hubcaps for less than 30k savages
Welcome to Joe Biden's America!!
Because it’s a true 4x4 and if you lease it with a good amount down you can get a payment under $300 plus using the 2024 incentive discount.
@@natashagates6280 imagine leasing a car with a good amount down that you don’t own lol.
@natashagates6280 not really, The lowest you can get is maybe 650 a month.

I get new cars every couple years & I'm not brand loyal and the crappy paint issue seems to be with all brands these days.

That's crazy considering people in the south love these. But it's dodge or Chrysler or stellantis or whatever so not surprised.

They got rid of the upgraded sound system in the altitude package?? Unbelievable
They removed gear shift with a dial? Bad idea.

Altitude X does not come with a 2-speed transfer case like the trailhawk or summit, so there is no option for 4 Low
The GC looks like the older version of the BMW X5…not sure if I’m a fan of
Where’s the engine cover for this vehicle?
What’s the X for I have the same 2023 altitud. With sun roof and has no X to it’s sexy name

Is the only difference between Altitude and Altitude X the standard Sunroof?
What is the X package?
Do you have a Cherokee with 3rd row?
50k and no navigation in a 2024? What a joke😂

Hello, do the lights in their mirror cap blink for the turn signal indicator on this altitude X?
