Mulholland Hwy has been a top destination for riders in Southern California for many years. The Snake section is a little over two miles long. The turns are tight, limiting speed and injuries in the event of a crash. And there are many crashes but also great riding.
The road is public but considered a recreational use area. All rules of the road apply but motorcycle and auto enthusiasts are part of the tradition of the area.
At the top of the Snake there is a park maintained overlook. The sign says:
"You are standing at the top of curves that road enthusiasts affectionately call "The Snake". Over the years Mulholland Highway has tested the merits of cars from Duesenbergs to Teslas. This particular stretch of road is a mecca for motorcyclists. It's sharp turns offer an adrenaline rush and a chance for fun, fame and often folly.
To your left is "Edwards Corner". It was named after the late Ed Savko, long-time owner of the Rock Store., a popular road house just down the hill. Hundreds of riders have crashed on this challenging 180- degree curve, perhaps showing off for spectators, who often gather here. Other succumb safely to the charm of "The Snake." "
Important Note Regarding Spectators: Recently the road has been posted "No Stopping." There are five 1 hour spaces at the overlook that fill up quickly. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Very Very nice!! One of the few motorcycling videos that does not depict violence, rowdiness, breaking the law and immaturity. Very level headed and mature riding with respect to the other road users complete with riding signs. I love it!!

LUCHINOGT Dude trust me, it look fun...but I'm from the Bay Area and I tow my bike up there to try it out on my rc51....its fun but there just no rush....try it for yourself if you like, but there just no way to get out of 1st gear....watch my video and you know what I mean. The turn is sharp and short.....High Way 9 is the shit...but if don't to hit over 100mph...then the snake is for you.

These are always great videos to watch, and it's great to see skilled riders in action, WITHOUT the crashes. I have been riding for 41 years here in New Zealand, and at the ripe old age of 56 have just bought a "new" 2013 Hayabusa. I wish Mulholland Drive was here, although there are some great riding roads around. I am loving my Busa, and look forward to finding out what is really capable of?

Another fantastic video ! Part where riders pass a bicyclist reminds me to keep my speed such that I can avoid them (and other road hazards such as rocks, wildlife, etc) when pushing my motorcycle hard trough twisties. In other words, watching these vids make me a better rider. Thanks for posting them.

It's a mesmerizing video. I love it! Myself I have a red 2014 Daytona 675, red CBR954RR and black F4i that I love. That SC57 Honda CBR1000RR at the end on the parking is beautiful. I want one of these, but 2006-2007 restyle. Interesting, I haven't seen any S1000RR beemers in the video!

Nice 2 see good riding without any crashes! I have yet to see someone on a trex ride hard! It seems they all just enjoy life and go for a cruise! Ducs were representing!

That ZX6R with white leathers, the blackout R1 (adeysworld?), that beemer and the 675 at the end were VERY smooth. Nice transitions curve, up and then another curve and awesome throttle control plus the body positioning done perfectly. Awesome.
Agree with you. The blackout R1 is not Adey, he bought the gsxr 1000. Awesome ride style from zx6r, Blue R1 and the new red 675 !
