  • Running only one series and never released on video, Vic & Bobs Families At War pitted members of opposing extended families with each member challenged to perform his or her special talent. The results were then judged by a different jury each week and the winning family had the chance to win a bunch of prizes in a very.Vic and Bob kind of way.

    I vote for the man who ran on a treadmill while Leo sayers rode his back singing his hit song when I'm with you...in full. Hahaha. Just watch, you'll see.

      Then Leo fell on the treadmill and got shoved under the huge mat on the floor

    It comes to a point when you have to ask yourself why you are watching a young lad from Yorkshire punch a shed below the level of an alsatian.

      Families at War - Reeves & Mortimer (Vic & Bob) 0536am 1.9.22 it has been noted that only people called jonathan enjoy comedy as they see no intrinsic value in it - at all!!! where other folk enjoy to spite it out and think: that's you, that is...as some large headed spook ambles silently across the room, 2 foot from the ground, in the manner of lloyd grossman... jonathan's think: o yeah, i never thought of it that way but if you really think so...
      enuff said - where it was once asked: what's this song about? in relation to some high falutin deeply intellectual music to which the retort came: nothing. you can bet yer bottom dollar that the same question and response is garnered when dealing with jonathan's brain and his interaction with comedy. merely transposing the word: song with comedy.
      Q: what's this comedy about, then?
      A: errr...nothing!

    The concept of Vic and Bob hosting Saturday tea-time TV has the smell of mediocrity on it, and yet I’m 7 & a half minutes in and I am reeling in laughter, and they didn’t soften any edge of their humor to do so.

    how can waxing a few people get the same amount of points as punching a shed to below Alsatian level ?

  • @lukemcguire6363
    @lukemcguire6363 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hahaha. They shouldve had the lady properly wax 1 or 2 people instead of having her wax just a bit on 10 people lol or 11. It was a lot. And by god, that boy boxed that bastardin shed well below the level of an alsatian haha

    I am so disappointed this show never took off resulting in shooting stars and guest appearance on count down . Shocking waste of Yorkshire talent.

    any reason these are such hideous 240p versions?
    not to sound ungrateful, but its like winning 25 cents in a lottery.

    • @lukemcguire6363
      @lukemcguire6363 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was never even released to video. I havent seen it yet but I suspect it's a dub and it will be like a lot of the hard to find videos I like. You watch for the content not the quality

      @@lukemcguire6363 You misunderstand mate,...the fact that this exists is amazing obviously we'll take it however we can get it,.. but what i meant was why is the encoding at 240p? - Even if this footage is from a dusty old vhs that is a copy OF a copy etc,.. that tape could be encoded at, at least 720p resulting in a less 'blocky' video.
      This level of encoding just adds distortion to the image, which helps nobody.

      @@stevehunt914 But surely converting an SD (240p-480p) VHS to HD (720p+) and uploading it to youtube wouldn't improve the playback quality and could potentially make it worse. All you'd be left with is a much bigger file and an increased upload time for a video that looks just as bad.
