- An extremely rare VHS that was made available to Vic Reeves Big Night Out Fan Club members in the early 90s featuring half an hour of pre-TV BNO live footage recorded on video camera. Vic, Bob, Les, Charlie Higson, Judith Grant, Graham Lister, Donald & Davy Stott all feature! All together now "Oh Mr Songwriter..."

I loved this. Nobody gives me the giggles like Vic and Bob. There was nothing like them before, and there has been nothing like them since.
I can't imagine what it was like to go to one of these stage shows for the first time and then try an explain it the next day at work or whatever. I wish they had recorded them.
True very true most people don't even seem to get it now
This got 10 x funnier as soon as Bob appeared.

I was there from Channel 4 & have seen Vic & Bob live several times, but this is an amazing insight to the very early shows that until now I had only read about. Thank you for posting.

The Windmills of Vic's Mind were always completely bizarre and surreal 😆 Great 👍
Thank you so much for posting this. I was one of the only people I knew who thought it was great
Incredible. I feel like I did when I realised that a full recording existing of 'Beyond the Fringe'.
Brilliant stuff.
Vic Reeves Big Night Out Fan Club VHS The Early Years *VERY RARE* 2234pm 17.3.23 i wonder if it was filmed by some dude i went to school with who did try to get me to come to london with him but i really really really really couldn't due to...............................being skint. he was a man about town, though... a proper cottager.
Shades of Kevin Turvey from Vic at start
Brilliant, yeah
Saw them in 1990 with the wonder stuff. Just read Bob’s book, the early pubs shows sounds great.

Are you the same Matt Price I keep saying thx Matt😂🎉
What year was this? I'm trying to hunt down the 1988 albany theatre footage where Bob played Graham Lister
Not sure, late 80s sometime. There's a tiny bit of Lister here: th-cam.com/video/x0FFLJaNVCE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DcVbMR_d4ayNN8Iy
Beautiful, thanks for sharing ✌
