While the teens all seem awful and the production quality doesn't exist, I actually really like how the dad was portrayed. Good actor, playing the part well.

Harry Peacock is married to Katherine Parkinson in real life (Jen in the 'I.T. Crowd) who also stars in 'The Kennedy's' with them.

You wouldn't likely find them in a family home, but rather, as a part of a multiplex building with different dwellings for different tenants or groups of tenants. So from what I gathered of British media, I thought 'tea' would be closer to 'snack'. Smaller that lunch or dinner, but some kind of liquid with small amounts of food (like a roll or a fruit with milk, juice, coffee, or tea). So yeah, in the US tea is specifically just a drink, so to say 'How do you EAT tea?' sounds very strange. So I answered OP that tea would be a meal that you can eat, not just a beverage.
