You two are awesome to watch. It doesn't matter if you on the boat fishing or in the kitchen cooking. Very interesting the way you two cook some very delicious looking meals !!!
Well done folks. This is only the second video of yours that I’ve seen. I’m glad to see that you all aren’t annoying or flashy like most couples that do any type of outdoor television shows. Keep up the great work. Good clean, straight forward content. Thanks!!! Great recipe!
I'm glad blue gave me your channel my granny's name is Crystal and if my wife watch this I'd have to be out in the water all the time catching crap catching everything as best as I can and my wife knows I love to fish Brandon she's not here anymore her name is Bonnie I used to call her banzai but thank you very much and I'm glad you're home so I get to watch you more of your cooking stuff because my wife uses do the same stuff 😁👍👍👍🇺🇲💪✌️
The only thing I could say to you is thank you very much for letting me watch your channel I do have to thank boo gave for this channel and I just talked to him and thank them too y'all be safe out there 😁👍👍👍🇺🇲💪✌️
G'day mate watching all the way from Perth Western Australia Love your video because it's totally different to the fishing in Australia. Thank you very much for another fantastic video and I will see you next time mate 🎣🐟🤙🇦🇺
Chowder looks good nice work Crystal! Have to get down to Florida this winter I'm chomping at the bit to do some stone crabbing. Have yet to try it or taste them. Hopefully this year
I want to make a spicy stone crab Alfredo with fresh pasta the next time I'm in Florida. I'll settle for blue crab, but stone is absolutely my first pick.
The recipe I promised 3 weeks ago: 2 tablespoons butter 1-1/4 cups heavy cream 2/3 cup grated parmesan or Asiago cheese. Get the good stuff. Kraft doesn't melt right. Also more for garnish. 2 tablespoons finely chopped Italian flat leaf parsley plus more for garnish. Salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cayenne pepper to taste. Start with a 1/4 teaspoon. 1 1/2 cups crab meat. 1 pkg fettuccine pasta. Melt butter in large Dutch oven, add the cream and parmesan or Asiago. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir constantly until the sauce has thickened. Add Cayenne and parsley, mix well, then add crab meat and cooked pasta, mix well and serve, top with more cheese, black pepper and parsley. Hope you enjoy.
A trick I learned from Chef Jean Pierre is if you add flour to a hot liquid, just use a large, double-mesh strainer and a whisk and whisk it into the hot liquid. No lumps.
What's up Tug and Crystal !! I really enjoy watching your video's. Just down to earth family doing things together. it's great Crystal is a wife that will fish with you. Nice mess of stone crabs. Crystal dinner is looking good. keep it up girl ☺. Hey tug was those the shrimp that your whole family was using cast net off the pier. I remember that night. you guys got lot of shrimp that night. Hey thanks for the shout out to our Louisiana friend K- fred. Great outdoorsmen. I watch his show too. Many Blessings to you and family. Have a merry Christmas if we don't see another video by then. How was your trip down to Cuba.
Mrs.Tug was thinking super hard about that garlic situation 😂once again great content and I will definitely be making that shrimp and corn chowder for dinner soon.
You two are one adorable couple! I love Crystals way of cooking…freestyle! All according to to taste and consistency! That looked delicious! I’d pour it into a bread bowl and sprinkle on the pepper! Maybe throw some oyster crackers in there…mmm! Great video Ian! Thank you for sharing! God bless! P.S. A speedy recovery for Mullet!
Of all the things that can kill ya all day every day. I personally don’t have a problem with something that dropped on the floor for a couple seconds. 😄 The best food my wife makes she never measures anything! And makes the best meals out of left overs👍 Great segment!
Great video Tug! Thank Krystal for her chowder recipe. I’ve never thought about cream cheese in a chowder. I’m a huge broth based chowder guy from Nova Scotia and I make my own lobster broth from the shells and bodies. I’ve heard that shrimp broth from shrimp heads and tail shells is very delicious. (Wife is allergic to shrimp, so I won’t be doing that anytime soon). I actually only use skim milk with no cream as I want to taste the seafood, not the cream, but I think I will try the cream cheese. Thanks! I love how you somewhat call out poachers while getting your traps as “someone must have pulled mine, thinking it was theirs”. LMAO. Keep them coming and stay true to you and the family!!!
Soooo hungry now. That was a great video. I definitely am going to try that recipe. I don’t measure anything either so all I need is A rough guideline ,thanks! we hit the sheep up this weekend, and between me and the wife got nine good size keepers.
That is some beautiful looking clam chowder or I say New England clam chowder!!! and I'm glad I found your channel tug, I've been looking for it ever since I watched you and Gabe go out one day, (so just another subscriber to your channel.)
Probably passed yall this weekend at some point .I kayak fished Hospital Friday afternoon, Salt run and Hospital Saturday and Salt run this morning. Keep the videos coming !
Did ok in Salt Run. Caught a few slot Reds both days , kept a 20" Saturday and a 19" Sunday. 6 keeper sheepshead 2 keeper trout Many under trout and Rat Reds. I only fished Hospital in the late afternoon on Friday and Saturday. Couple of puppy reds, small bluefish and a few keeper trout. Got 1 of the reds next to your last trap in the video. Lol
Nice work! We put a Colored zip tie on the door of our traps that way we know if someone pulled ours! Now if I can just find the 2 traps that we set that went missing! 😢
@ 13:50 5 second rule 😎As long as you pick it up before 5 seconds it's good😁 , and when you're good you don't need to measure or set timers . I had some shrimp and corn chowder in a local sandwich shop that was very good , but yours looks amazing by comparison . Thanks for sharing .
I do enjoy your videos wish I was you. Your a awesome. And really enjoy catch and cook plus you do things with your family. Keep up the hard work brother. Would love to be friends. Phil from kasson Minnesota.
Hey man, have you ever tried your sheepshead cooked in crab boil? I just boil a pot of water and add crab boil powder, lemons, onions and potatoes, then cut the fillets in cubes and add for the last few minutes almost like a low country boil. Pile it on a plate and melt some butter with lemon and garlic and pour over the fish and taters!! We call it poor man's lobster! Damn good!! Gonna make some chowder this week, I still have some Keaton Beach Bay scallops and some shrimp. Great video!!
What a awesome video! I cannot begin to tell you how much I’m learning from your video’s! Dinner looked great!!! Keep them coming! We’ve only been here for a month now and I don’t even know what my first fishing pole should be 😳 my dream is to do what you and your beautiful wife do but where to begin…
Awsome vid! Cooking, you need to cook your flour , so add it in the grased stuff before adding moist stuff.. not get it Brown but juste lumping and heated.. that should get your chowder tastyer and thiker without corn strach... if it's not most enough before.. just add cube of butter or dash of oil to mix it...
@@FVMissPaula pretty much. The stones can’t get back out as easy as blues so no upper chamber needed. We are making them with bigger bait chambers to fit the different baits.
I know the location of your shrimping video. I used to flounder gig in front of the lighthouse. Did the stone crabs come from the same area? I had no idea the were this far north.
If you add that flour to the mixture after you cook the bacon and browned the corn with would cook out any flour taste or any lump issues you might ever have. I make chowder very similar the way you all do and add the flour in before adding the chicken stock.
Thanks for the Vid. I would have liked to have seen you take apart the stone crab, peel it from the shell. I wanted to see if they stick to the shell at 8 minutes?
