Shrimp sesons started already not aloud more than 5 gal.buck per each dip net or person traps have to have ID. Floats on them no more than 4 traps per person the march on the bottom like lobster 😊
Today Ian your life will in live in infamy for this great vid that you have put a pond us. For my 5 great grands now look up to me to teach them the old ways of the life on the Chesapeake. So Semper Fidelis to you and your family who inspirers my great grands today as they look at me as the Old man and the sea. Great vid my younger friend, Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
So awesome to see your mom giving the shout out to her mother in law. RIP. Loved the crabbing videos and her cameos when she was still with us. Love seeing the tight family, and the amazing videos.
I'm cooking ham an a dang store bought turkey for my family for Easter. Watching every second of y'all's vid. Love it so much . Hope y'all have a great Easter Sunday. It isn't bout chocolate bunnies or eggs . Gonna have to come back to the vid an loving y'all. Real deal family!! God bless all! Time for a ham slice an a beer. Thanks .
Thank YALL for the combined videos. Love Shrimp, but we live, might as well say, an hour and a half from Savannah, but are in our 70's. Just watching your pure enjoyment makes me happy. Have a Happy Easter, and God bless you!!!
Not going to lie, slept from making grits and woke up to throwing patties in the river. Great stuff. Nice how the girls are with you most of the time. Wish I lived closer to the salt life. I will deal HEB hear in central Texas. It aint bad. THANK YOU for the post!!!!
I just found your channel, with the tug boat thing first and then catching shrimps with the family and cooking! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, cooking talents , and the love you share for your family!
Love the way u throw that net and those shrimp 🍤 are huge. All of your information and different recipes are amazing 😮😊 Ty for sharing. You and your family are out on an adventure when you can, very cool 😎
Readying all of your ingredients before hand has a fancy French culinary name TT, it's called "Mise en place". Use that one on Crystal, she'll be plenty impressed. And boy would I love a batch of those fresh shrimp!
Great video Ian, Krystal & Bianca! Just love the shrimp videos. Just wish my wife wasn’t allergic. Guess I’ll stick to lobster & scallops. Love how you really don’t fry a whole lot of food. Gives me some great healthier options. Thanks for sharing!!!
Hello buddy how's it going man? Man this was great. Those Shrimps were big & look really really good man. You got me hungry for shrimps and grits now. Your video are so good man. Thanks you so much for taking the time to make those videos for me to watch man. You & your family have a good Happy Easter man.
Some of the biggest shimp I've gotten were from New Smyrna beach on the out going tide, under the South bridge, many years ago, its where I grew up and it was my stomping grounds , it was great shrimping there with a box net and lights anchored off the pier, it's the perfect pier to shrimp from, the placement of the pier is where the action happens, check it if you're ever în that area, great video and awesome cooking ✨💖✨🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐
Ian buddy sorry am late. March we had 7 birthdays. I turn 65. Easter was my youngest granddaughter birthday she turn 10. So I've been very busy. Hey buddy you are kicking out some nice jumbo shrimp there. Way to go. Nice cooking recipe on all the cooking. Happy belate Easter Ian, crystal, Bea.
2hrs done!!! Got my 10 traps from Harold at Wishard wire yesterday, your going done brother!!! lol awesome comp of videos man!!! Crystal with a K needs to showcase that buffalo shrimps recipe!!! Hopefully I can send you my first video this week. Going tomorrow to make the second at Sebastian Inlet. Sounds like the worst weather day of the week, perfect!!!
Have you checked the weather?Yall/the girls”assuming your on the tug”probably getting it right now. Bottom should fall out right about time I get to Sebastian @6. Worse case I did bring a couple traps to chuck out from shore maybe I’ll just day dream in the truck and let those soak for a few hrs while it rains.
Mmm mmmm! That was good yeah! You're perlou recipe is a lot like my jambalaya recipe with that cajun trinity, except I use andouille sausage instead of bacon. I loved watching your shrimp catching videos. Tugboats where I learned to cook. Luckily we had a cook on our boat and if we didn't usually the engineer would cook. The captain cooked while at dock and man could he cook. When I say we had beans and rice with every dinner I mean we had beans and rice with EVERY dinner! One of the duties of cleaning the galley after dinner was putting a pot of beans to soak for the next day. See ya on the one.
Tug, have you ever tried frying “gulf spiders” all you have to do is save the shrimp ribs & legs. Rise , season, batter like you batter your shrimp or fish & fry. Can you guess where I live? If you guessed Cajun country you’d be right. We don’t waste anything, besides it’s really munchy. Try it & if you like it make a video!
@@TugTrashOutdoors poor girl! I’d be miserable if I couldn’t eat shrimp. Before i became disabled I would eat boiled shrimp everyday for lunch. I worked in Houma LA the heart of shrimp country. I could get a pound of boiled shrimp with corn & potatoes for a lil over $5. I wish they could find a cure for her allergies so she could enjoy it with y’all
I love watching your crabbing and shrimping videos best but I'm watching this 2hour one and your on a pier dropping your shrimp on the pier. I would like to suggest buying a small 4×4 tarp to lay for the dumping of the shrimp then it can be held up to put in bucket rather then sweeping them. Keep on catching and I'll keep watching 😊.
@ Tug Trash. >>> You sure do deliver on the videos man! I was watching and getting near the end I thought and I sensed I wanted more and so I checked and voila... a 2 hour video and I still have an hour and thirty minutes remaining for my afternoon of relaxation and education by you... LoL! Come on everybody smash that thumbs up and get Tug Trash up in the likes so he may get more views and become a TH-cam star. >@^_*@
Eian....love the music in the video, can u enlighten me with the author & Song....lol og da boss, AKA SPEEDYGSTER! FYI...AWESOME SHRIMP VIDEO, U R THE SHRIMPING WIZARD!!! HOW MUCH TO DO A SHRIMP CHATER?
1. Just by TH-cam luck a video of you and Harold?, shrimping on AnB pier with cast nets. And this video popped up next. So far so good, entertaining and informative...... I'm up in Maryland, Chesapeake Bay. We only have "grass shrimp", way too small 🦐 too eat, great for fishing 🎣 especially Egger's! Although my Awesome Korean 언제나, 영원히 does like them as a type of snack food, although a lot of effort especially when it's easier to just buy them at a local Korean Supermarket. Anyway, Marylanders love crabbing. We have Blue Crabs like the rest of the eastern seaboard. Although we steam them. It's kinda sacreligious to boil them...... Question ❓ why do you prefer to take the heads off?.... Or do you only remove the heads for certain recipes? Have you ever had "spot shrimp", Pacific coast California? Many people agree, obviously fresh caught/bought cooked n eat, and they about the best shrimp. But you really can't go wrong with any fresh shrimp. I spent a summer in Hollywood, FL n gladly took advantage of the shrimp. I wasn't a fan of the mud crabs that lived basically in mud holes along the side of the roads near the river that would be running all over the place when the daily afternoon rain 🌧️.... The local Latino's I talked to that would be catching them said you need to keep them in clean water, feed them like fresh fish or even chicken for about a week to clean out the muddy taste.... Ok, I went way too long of a comment while watching more of your videos... I appreciate your effort to share your knowledge, information and most importantly, the family happiness and positivity!!!
Brother you are killing me! Those shrimp look so good!
Thanks
