This is perfect for me! I suspected that I needed to reduce the tackiness, but it’s great to have it confirmed. I’m a card maker too and will definitely be doing this!
Just found you because I have been agonizing over being able to do this. I got a Cricut Joy recently and am trying to learn what I can do with it and will try this method today. Thank you so much, subscribing now.
Great tutorial. I especially like the info about using used or less sticky transfer tape. I am wondering if there is a method to sealing the vinyl on the cardstock. I add inspriational vinyl sayings to the front cover of my handmade journals. What sealing agent should I use to make sure the words stays put and last longer? Thanks for your help.
I've used painters tape (the blue, not sure if green is different) or glad press and seal. Those two products work really well.
Very easy to follow instructions. Thank you so much. Reuse the transfer tape, I did not know that..... Wow, game changer.
Def keep it to reuse!!
That card was beautiful Thank you so much for teaching us😃love that idea
That's much better ( and more cost efficient) than foiling!! I've never had any luck with foiling but I love the look!
Yeah it’s great! Haha I have a foiling machine but haven’t tried it yet 🙈 the laser printer part is currently defeating me 🤪
Thank you for the tip! Worked really well. And I had no idea you could reuse transfer tape. Good to know!
Welcome!! Yes absolutely reuse your tape!!! 🥰

Do you think the GLAD press n seal would be a great alternative to transfer paper/sticker?

Thanks for sharing, what is the name of the vinyl you used please?
Hey! It’s the cricut brand, textured metallic in silver. Permanent adhesive vinyl 🥰
@@RabiaKhans thank you
What vinyl did you use?
Thanks for the tip!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching 🥰
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aww you are most welcome!!!
The problem is the one transfer tape is not picking up the glossy vinyl. The other is to strong.
You could try the strong grip but make it less sticky first by peeling it on some fabric?
❤❤❤
Loving your channel.. and if I may. You're beautiful!

Hope it works better now!
