would be great if your background color is grey, becos most kit is either too black, or too white to tell the different , Grey is the best color to differentiate both
So I'm putting the Lancer together now and it is such a bitch. The leg armor is constantly falling off and that hair piece! I'm about to just super glue it all together!
You have to clean the plastic surface up thoroughly with dish-washing soap... factory fresh runners always leave non-sticky residue straight from the box. Do that before putting decals.
What a nice idea! I think they are very cute and I liked them a lot! Sadly I had to make a choice between Launcher and Dragondress Sophia, and I ended up choosing Sophia. But if I had the chance I'd definitely pick both of them!
A sturdy action base is needed. I must say, the spin-table held em up pretty well. :) Decal placement is gonna be a ton and tricky to place. My favorite feature is the Launcher's Scissor-Skirts, they remind me of S Gundam's " incom " or Barbatos Lupus Rex's Tail-Blade.
Yeah, I don't really like the stands that Koto includes with the MD or FA Girl kits (when they bother to include them). I prefer to use figma stands. But for heavier gear like this, an action base might be best.
I can't tell if website are being dumb and including the lance in the size measurement of the kit, but is the figure bigger than other megami device kits? It says the figure is 13 inches tall?
I prefer Lancer's colours over Launcher's, but Launcher's weapon. Since the busts are different, it would be impossible to have all-black or all-white versions, at least without modification.

I can take a stab at it. Megami Device are slightly smaller, and the legs have a different connector. As evidenced by the inclusion of a special neck joint for FA Girl heads, the neck joints are also different. Basically, this is a result of using a different body mold type. Right now, while the MD line is more recent, it also has greater variety. This could change as Koto releases more FA Girls.
Also all MDs have no Poly cap connectors, being that the MDs are basically a Masaki Apsy design who was known to be the main engineer behind Konami's Busou Shinki/MMS line, while the FA:Gs are the "prototype" series when Konami was having a hissy fit so MDs should be comparable to the Shinkis to scale as opposed to FA:Gs
@@BLAZE084 Yup I have her she requires a little bit of glue and over all she's a bit more of a modeler's kit then the megami device or frame arms girls kits but she's fantastic I especially like her clear long hair and inhuman eyes. She also has a much more mature look than most of the other girl kits out there.
@@vf1skull1 Yes she does look more like a woman than most mecha musume. I watched the HLJ review a few months back and I really liked what I saw. And yes, the clear long hair is quite refreshing from the mainstream hair colors and styles out today.
I have the pink one because it was in stock locally but i really wish i had just ordered the orange one. I recommend skipping the pink flight type, the backpack is finicky and you cant use the backpack and her long hair at the same time, and the helmet is kinda finicky as well.

I do prefer the lancer's face options more. But both kits are very nice though.

Get one 10% off from HLJ and one uhopen second hand from AmiAmi so my wallet manage to survive.
From those two I am tempted by Lancer. I like way she looks more than Launcher plus I think she has better face options as well.
The giant Launcher cannon would fit perfectly with AOZ kits.
I managed to find Bullet Launcher in an Anime store Chicago on vacation glad I did and I cant wait to build my first MD kotobukiya kit.

Got both the Hell Blaze version and use them as special soldiers for my combined form of Gigantic Arms Ultimate Guardian.
The waterslides drive me really crazy for some reason. Wouldn't stick well on my Launcher.. Do you have any problems with it?

For me, still ASRA Archer. She has the best and most versatile variety of weapons, and she looks great.
It’s tough to choose between the Asra set or the Sol set, I like both a lot.
