For the blue part on the canon it's actually box for LED. And the LED that it used is kinda LED that used for fishing lure.
I think it'd be pretty sick to kitbash this with the Frame Arms Girl Stylet low visibility ver. Both plane themed, with a few more options, and more faces.
An interesting silhouette. I particularly like the helmet design and that color scheme.
I'm pretty excited for this kit. I got a Sitara Karwa Chauth version and fell in love with the design. Although the 30 minutes sisters line is no slouch, Megami Device kits sure have themselves a nice competition and still give interesting Mechamusume kits out for any collector.
Looks really nice, might end up being my first 1/1 scale if I decide to get it

A very cool update since the old MD Busou Shinki Edelweiss kit (as labeled B1) 😊 Arnval's new thigh joint in a kit brings back since the old Konami figures with perfect crouch/sitting thigh to shoulder joints.
This Arnval is based on the Moon Angel anime which is named, Zero-One and not any of the Arnvals on the TV anime.
You can see it on the chest part, which is shown when Arnval was being repaired.
The next Busou Shinki is Straf which is named also based on Moon Angel named Zero-Two.
The Moon Angel OVA's Arnval is a MKII named Kaguya by her new human operator, and the open torso structure plate is a reference to the Battle Rondo webgame for Busou Shinki (now defunct).
Arnval MKI also appears in the Otomedius series as a guest character alongside Strarf MKI.
Amusingly, the prototype human-scale Shinki chassis seen in Moon Angel OVA is the precursor to the human-sized Arnval and Strarf seen in Otomedius.
This is a cool kit!

I'm still holding off on getting into the x Busou Shinki line, hoping they'll round out the squad. As I understand it, there's a few with very different body types that seem like they'd be a big departure from the typical machinka body.
Me and my lad always jokingly called that propellant tank "carrot" coz how thick and orange it is!
I'm still waiting for the Jaeger Edelweiss reprint from Koto, that kit is chock full of stuff!
I have both the Original Arnval Action figure, the Mk1 and the Tranche 2 version. Still in good condition too, i really miss the Busou Shinki line.
I have the original action figures too, must be about 15 years old now or something like that? Wish I took more care with them though, I moved around a lot and parts either went missing or snapped.

I like that Kotobukiya recreated the iconic joints and look for this one instead of using the normal Body like they did for the first Busou Shinki crossover.
Edelweiss is great, but she didn't really look like a Busou Shinki (well she technically never was made into a figure so I understand the decision)
I hope we get so see more of the Busou Shinki being recreated, as they have great designs. And they were the predecessor of the Megami Device line (in Lore and partially irl.)
But one thing I gotta correct is that Busou Shinki wasn't Kits nor was it made by Kotobukiya, they were Figures made by Konami (most designers moved to Kotobukiya to work on Megami Device after Konami shut down the Busou Shinki line) the only Kit we got of Busou Shinki so far was Edelweiss which was an unreleased Figure that would have been the main character of a new Game, but that never got released, so we never got more.
But I do own a few of the Figures and they truly are like Megami Device, they have good articulation and a lot of optional parts as well as armored and unarmored forms.
I hope Kotobukuya continues with the Busou Shinki line. Arnval herself has a lot of variants they could make.
I'm hoping we get the full cast since the anime is how I got into Busou Shinki (I know Strarf is next but I hope we get the other two, and the side characters).

This kit has a lot going for it. The blocky lower legs look great (though I wish they carried that aesthetic into the wings, which I don't particularly like), having a short hair option should open up the expressive posing quite a bit, and that improved hip joint is something that is often sorely needed in female kits since they cut the hip line opening so low to preserve the form
Idk. I'd love the legs for a custom girl but other than thar I don't like it.
So probably not worth getting it just for those
Would get Mk.2 if they do it, Mk.1's design is just too outdated imo.

@@JJTheDev They didn't. What they announced 2 months ago was Arnval Tranche 2, it's just a slightly upgraded version of the original. The Mk.2 is completely different.
