I just got this impact wrench yesterday from Home Depot for automotive work, and I’m really looking forward to using it soon.
I wish Ryobi and Ridgid would have kept the tri beam lights.

@@ManCaverTools I actually changed my mind after writing this comment.
I decided to go with the Ridgid mid torque instead. It’s more comfortable in my hand, has plenty of power and it’s less expensive than the Milwaukee. The LSA also makes it a great choice for me.

The hollow rectangle steel beam was giving or compressing when torqued so you didn't quite put as much torque to those nuts as you might think. Better test is to use a solid steel bar and bolt down the nuts with that 1800 ft-lb wrench.

Using a torque multiplier ($150-300) and a torque wrench you can accurately put those bolts to 800 ft lbs of torque. Don't need the $4000 tool.

@@ManCaverTools the torque multiplier will work if u have a torque wrench that will torque to lets say 200 ft lbs a torque multiplier will multiply the torque by 4 times so you put the torque multiplier on the bolt then put the torque wrench on the multiplier and tighten to 200 ft lbs and that will in turn make the bolt tightened to 800ft lbs

You would be better off getting a skid more and wilhelm, with regular And reverse thread pitch.
you can compare impact wrenches, up
to 1500 ft lbs, and it would be slightly less expensive than the hytorq gun.
The hytorq is limited to 700 ft lbs. meaning you can’t test high torque impacts.
