Bought the big M18 couple years ago, come to find out, the M12 3/8 does 99% of the work you could need on an average vehicle. Compact wins most of the time.
@@joer6571Thanks for the tips. I am using impact sockets but only a XC 3.0 m12 battery. It’s been great so far but I figure it’s best to have a mid torque in the tool box for those hard nut busting occasions. Btw I just checked and there’s a Krown in my city. I’ll definitely give them a consideration. My 17 4Runner TrdPro is not that old but looks like a haggard rust bucket underneath the dress 😅
@@Kaizen2013v mid torque would probably make the most sense. That big one is too much of a beast most of the time. Are you by chance in Michigan?? Not too many Krowns here in the US.
I've had an m12 fuel 1/4" impact that I've used on my motorcycles for years and it's been fantastic. Never used anything bigger because of the delicate fasteners on motorcycles. I'm just now stepping up to the M18 fuel stuff to work on my Jeep. I like the look of that 1/2" stubby for automotive applications. I couldn't imagine you'd need the high torque model for anything other than heavy industrial work.
Wow I am in the exact same position. 1/4" on my motorcycles, looking to work on my Wrangler and stepping up. What did you end up picking if you did already?
I got the 2863-20 for two years and haven't even touched it yet. My mechanic friend advised me, that if I need just one impact wrench then get the mid-torque. That's the most used one for most cases.
I bought the 2967-20 because I already have a cheap ass Ryobi ratchet for simple lighter stuff and wanted an impact that can do anything I need it to, from taking off rusty bolts to removing and replacing ball joints and bearings. I admit it can be a bit heavy when under a jacked up car with little room but way better than an underpowered tool as my first Milwaukee.
Lmaooo i have a full 360 surround sound system for my tv in my room and before this comment i didnt even realize it was only the right side speakers playing 😭😭💀
They are SO overdue to release a refresh of the M18 mid-torque. I just bought an M12 stubby that's got MORE TORQUE than the M18 ..??? They need a Mid-Torque M18 which makes 900 lb-ft to make sense.
I really enjoyed your video, I just have a question, I got the Milwaukee 2962-20 M18 18V Fuel 1/2" Mid-torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring, does this have enough torque and power to just remove car nuts from a BMW normal sedan and average work around the house? Is it enough power?? Also for tightening the 🔩 on the car to make sure it’s safe to drive?
I have the 1 inch anvil which I use primarily just to take the wheels on and off of my semi truck, but found myself needing another impact for engine work on it not sure if I should go for the mid torque or the high torque. Do you have any recommendations?
Good video but you need to practice on your talking. You sound nervous or anxious that you lose your train of thought and you keep saying “um” “uum” a lot
Really? You should practice on your English. Are you really commenting on a youtube video about someone saying um a lot? Hah. Get out of your basement and take a walk.
I don’t understand how everyone says it’s amazing. Mine can’t take off 4 in every 5 types of lug nuts nevermind suspension fuck that. 9/10 brake jobs it can’t take the bracket bolts off
Try a new battery, once they get old they don't seem to work so great. It can have full bars after charging, but still not have the same power as a new one & drains faster I noticed.
Im looking into getting the 2967-20 Why the hell isn’t it One-key? They have the 2863-20 That one has one key, but it’s the older model from what I understand it’s a 2767-20 but with one key, right ? I’m so confused Please help I haven’t bought an impact wrench yet and I want to get the right one, should I wait for them to make what I’m asking
Unless you are a construction worker and afraid someone is gonna steal your tools I don't really care for it and bought the 2967-20 myself. And if you need to adjust the setting on the impact you can just waste half a second and press a button vs wasting a minute taking off your gloves, unlocking your phone, opening the app, hoping you have a good connection, adjusting it, then putting your gloves back on.

I love mine but idk if it’s living in the rust belt but it struggles with certain bolts here and there
@@Kaizen2013v use the big battery and impact sockets. I live in the rust belt as well and get my vehicles sprayed with oil by Krown.

Correct answer, all of them! Have them all, use them all. Depends on the situation.
That’s correct!

At less than 10 minutes, you did a great job of explaining the differences, and pointing out that sometimes smaller is better in most applications. 👊🏻
Thanks for watching!

Who else has the m12 3/8 stubby and can’t even take brake bracket bolts, nevermind suspension lugnuts off
Nah, I take wheels bolts, suspension etc worh mine no problem. 6ah battery makes a big difference
I have the m18 with the same fucking problem? I think it has to do with the battery?
I bought the 2967-20 just to change tires at home, I wish I would have seen this before. I would of bought the 12 volt 😮
My little more than a year old 12v adjustable torque driver is making a horrendous noise. I need adjustable for small fasteners...
Looking for a impact wrench to change out blades on my zero turn mower. What are the best options?
i used M12 stubby 3/8” since 2018 to take tires off multiple cars van
brakes jobs, exhaust
if needed by mid torque breaks anything off
Am ordering one thank you

I bought the half-inch high torque did not come with the battery.
Would the 2867 be overkill to loosen 36mm Axle spindle nuts?
No if you get the one key version you can lessen the torque value
boss how order online shopee or lazada ilike M12 milwaukee
is the shipping free in CANADA
So many REDS in the background
No free battery when you click the links. Some don’t even work
It's inexcusable that you didn't keep track of your own pricing.
Will the m12 stubby take out a 150 ft lb lug nut?
Yes they will at least they should unless they are rusty.
@@drivingwiththeboyz4552I ended up buying a mid torque. Rather have more and never use it than not have it and need it.
No. Won't remove 100ftlbs
@techschoice Where are these manufactured? I rarely buy anything made in communist china. I'm primarily interested in model 2967.
They are all made in Taiwan! The 2967-20 is a great tool and we have some INSANE deals on our website!
