    M18 FUEL™ 1/2 Mid-Torque Impact Wrench w/ Friction Ring Kit 2962.22- bit.ly/12MidTorque
    M18 FUEL™ 3/8" Mid-Torque Impact Wrench w/ Friction Ring Kit delivers the best power to weight ratio, most access in tight spaces, and faster removal speed. It provides 600 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque and only weighs 5.0 lbs, making it extremely versatile, capable of performing a wide variety of applications. Its POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor generates the power needed to quickly perform many tasks, such as removing large bolts or lug nuts. This MILWAUKEE® 3/8" Impact Wrench is the most compact in its class, giving you access to stubborn fasteners in spaces where larger impact wrenches can’t fit without needing to disassemble components to reach bolts. Tri-LEDs surround the anvil to deliver brighter light with fewer shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ offers greater precision with a range of pre-set RPM and IPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF™ control applies no more than 35 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tight fastening applications to prevent overtightening. Mode 4 also features Bolt Removal Control that delivers you full torque output, then decreases RPMs once the bolt is loosened to prevent fastener drops. REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence ensures maximum performance, protecting the tool against overloads, over-heating, and over-discharge. The included two M18™ REDLITHIUM™ 5.0 batteries fit all M18™ tools, delivering more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack.

    I would say skip the compact m18 altogether as the stubby imo is nicer for tight spaces due to the fact you can use the smaller m12 batteries. The m18 compact uses the m18 batters which makes the tool kinda chunky and if you are going to go that route may as well go to the m18 mid torque as the size is almost damn near the same to the compact but with more torque. My line up would be the m18 high torque, m18 mid torque and m12 stubby.

    I love mine. Took apart the whole front end (fenders, hood, bumper, uca, lca, sways, etc) and pulled the engine/trans and drive shaft with the use of the m12 stubby (3/8) and m18 mid torque (1/2) on a olds 442 that had been sitting for years. Super curious how the new dewalt extreme will compare with the Milwaukee stuff. Can’t go wrong with Milwaukee.

      Hell yeah. I use the 1/4 impact driver (2853) to remove lug nuts on my Sequoia and it has nowhere near the power as these. I will be getting one of these though so I don't rely on the 1/4.

    The new 2960 3/8" and 2962 1/2" design is identical. The ONLY difference is the 1/2" anvil. Check out the Torque Test Channel, it'll blow your mind. th-cam.com/video/iqUCrwem2Lc/w-d-xo.html
    I ended up sending my 1/2" Mil and 1/2" Sock back 2 days after I bought them after seeing the above video. I just received the 3/8" and am happier than a clam. Oh, why did I do this? Because the test results show the 3/8" wrench is get this, a full 1" shorter than the 1/2" due to socket size and get this, the 3/8 exceeds the Ball Busting 600 ft lb torque. Nobody knows why!!!

    • @Methodical2
      @Methodical2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Confused. Are you referring the Gen 1 1/2" torque wrench? Is that the one you sent back?

    • @cybco
      @cybco 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Methodical2 2960 3/8" and 2962 1/2" are the most recent release designs. Since they're the same design differing in only anvil size, and the 3/8" give you over an 1" compact size due to socket sizes, I went with 3/8". So I sent the 2962 1/2" Anvil one back and the 1/2" socket set.

    • @cybco
      @cybco 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Methodical2 Yes, the 1/2".

    • @Methodical2
      @Methodical2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cybco Got it. Much clearer now that you stated the 1" difference was due the socket size differences. That is not clear in your original statement. I thought you were talking about difference size between the old and new impact wrench.

      @@Methodical2 My bad. It's a bad ass tool that's mind boggling powerful off of a battery. And it's not heavy. Enjoy it.
