First year: straight A all the way, after class study, take every class
Second year: still straight A but busy with social/ useless club
Third year: Major breakdown, think I was taking wrong major, drinking/ clubbing all night
Fourth year: almost drop out, busy with intern & finishing paper

This was in the UBC first year guide thing and I watched it lukewarmly then. But now I'm about to graduate (yes, it took me 5 years) and I appreciate its hilarity and freakish accuracy so much more.

Hello I was just wondering about what I need to get into ubc arts grade wise. my grades are as follwing Grade 9: 3.125 Grade 10: 3.0 Grade 11: 4.0 Grade 12 first trimester:4.0And a 1800 on my sats Yes im an American so can you tell me my chances by grades? Also I have 2 recomendations one by my principle and one by my congressman. I have over 50-100 hours of voulentear work and I have been playing varsity volleyball all 4 years. And other extra curriculars and good stuff.
That is pretty damn impressive they'd be half insane to not take you. BUT just to guarantee it, write a damn good supplemental (UBC takes supplementals very very seriously I know a guy who got in with only a 78% average but his supplemental was just AMAZING, so they took him)

Many people change their mind in what they want to do, then they didn't get all the second year requirements they need for their new major, so sort of have to repeat second year etc.
