I've been looking into literally hundreds of universities worldwide and therefore have seen thousands of university tour videos, so don't take it lightly when I say THIS IS THE BEST ONE.
I just want to say thank you for this video. I've been sick for almost 7 years, so my university experience has been on hold. It looks like I've recovered enough to maybe go to UBC next September and I've been chatting with the advisor. But it's been so difficult to keep my chin up and be excited. This video made me feel excited again for the first time in a long while. I know this seems like something small or silly, but it means everything to me to be able to feel like that again. Thank you so much
This comment warmed my heart so much. Thank you for taking the time to write it and let me know. It doesn't seem silly to me at all, I'm so incredibly happy this video was able to do that for you! Sometimes as a TH-camr I forget that real people watch my videos since so much of what I see are just "numbers" (I hope that makes some sense to you), so getting comments like this one make my day.
Omg I can’t wait to see UBC campus in January! I was admitted to the Arts faculty (hopefully major in Psychology) so this campus tour is really helpful💕
that's so exciting congrats! I'm glad the tour was helpful! And for the psychology major everyone gets in! it's not really another application or anything
Great video. Thank you for not talking about your personal life or showing friends but just giving straight facts. Very informative, good speaker. Keep it up and good luck in your studies!
honestly it's soooo much more time consuming than you would think! So I can definitely see why people just show the buildings and not go inside hahaha, but yess I remember I wish there was this kind of tour when I was first looking into what university to go to!
I'm watching this because I miss being on the campus for classes so much. Zoom classes are better than nothing, but I want to be there in person with the profs and fellow students. So I'm watching videos like this to cheer myself up. 😄
Okay so UBC is absolutely gorgeous! As a first year student at home for the upcoming term, this tour is just what I needed...thank you so so much for this wonderful video!
Of course this vid gets recommended to me when I would usually be heading back to UBC but won’t because of online classes. Im beginning my final year and as I’m seeing these buildings that had become apart of my everyday these past couple years, all of sudden I realize how much I’m going to miss this campus. Thanks for the vid

Hi Tania! I probably won't be making that video any time soon, but maybe in the future! I'll recommend some places in this comment (hoping that they're still open because of COVID - unfortunately some of what I would recommend I know is actually closed): Capilano suspension bridge or if you want a smaller free version you can try Lynn Canyon, Coal Harbour, Stanley Park, English Bay, Kitsilano Beach, Deep Cove, Ambleside, Gastown, if you're into hiking try Mount Seymour (Dog Mountain hike view is pretty nice), and if you're okay with driving out past Vancouver I would definitely recommend driving the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish and either take the Gondola (Sea to Sky Gondola) or if you're into hiking do The Chief hike which is also really pretty!

I'm from the US and won't have a chance to visit, this was such a good tour to make up for that! thank you :)
UBC is such a pretty place 😍🥰🌸
I dream of getting into UBC, but I'm from Brazil and neither my family or myself have the financial resources to get me to UBC
You could always apply first and try for scholarships
The UBC was the university of my dreams but now i am super motivated too go there.
ahh awesome! good luck with your application!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video, Lina 👌. It is very detailed about the classroom, gardens and housing, but is this excellent canteen or café to provide good food items ..
