This was my first year residence at Ubc and I lived in the student residence totem park (Haida house).

UBC dorms come with lamps. Talk to Housing Services if yours is missing.

Great video, where did you get your string lights? Are they one long length? Also, hook for jeans, great idea, where do you buy those?
The lights I believe I ordered from bed bath and beyond! The Jean hooks are just shower curtain hangers ( pretty much anywhere sells them)

How do you clean the floors and stuff in the dorm room? Do they have University staff who clean or does each student have to clean the floors
When trying to apply for UBC residency, selecting a connected single can place me in the totem pole and orchard commons. Can I choose which one to stay in if and when I get accepted? 🤔 Or do they just place me in either of those?
do you know/remeber what size your mini fridge was 🙏 i got haida house and im hoping & praying that my fridge isnt too big

Islam in its true form grants women many rights and any Muslim man who oppresses women is not following the true words of Allah.
Countries that accept oppression of women have their own interpretation of the Quran, or follow old cultural traditions and try to justify it via religion.

You only wash dishes every 2 days or so--I know that you have all kinds of bugs 🐜 in your room. If your dorm mates do the same thing--the dorm is infested with bugs. When you put damp towels in with dirty clothes--things start to mildew AND smell🤢. The things one needs to learn at college 😱
