    All of these things society doesn't teach you. I think the elders used to know these things but the information got lost or overshadowed. Thanks DARE for bringing this wisdom back for us in this century!

      You’re absolutely right-there’s so much about dealing with anxiety that society doesn’t teach us. It’s like a lost skill, one that was perhaps more intuitively understood in the past. I’m so glad DARE is helping to bring that wisdom back and make it accessible for everyone. Thank you for your thoughtful comment-it’s amazing to see this knowledge being shared in our generation! 💛

    I would be physically sick at extreme times of anxiety. Panics and anxiety plus depression is the most awful thing to have in life especially when it restricts your whole life. This awareness is so vital for someone like myself and to people who have no idea what it's like. So all can understand. Thank you for this video ❤

      Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Charlotte. It’s true-panic, anxiety, and depression can feel all-consuming and like they’re taking over every aspect of your life. It’s incredibly validating to hear that the awareness from this video is helpful for you and hopefully, for others who might not fully understand what it’s like. You’re not alone in this journey, and I’m glad this message resonated with you. 💛 Stay strong!

    Glad to hear tinnitus mentioned. It's something I don't hear much, and mine has definitely become more noticeable since my panic attacks and subsequent anxiety began earlier this year. It's been a big worry, so it's good to hear it listed here.

    For me, what is really debilitating is the vertigo. Especially, it seems to occur very quickly out of the blue. Makes it very hard to sleep at night, which only worsens all the other symptoms.

    • @aidabeco
      @aidabeco 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Vertigo can be so intense and unsettling,. It’s understandable that it impacts sleep, which then just feeds everything else. Know that you’re not alone in this, and that with practice, it does get easier to ride these waves. Hang in there!

    How about pelvic pain, frequent urination?

      Yes had it decdes

    • @aidabeco
      @aidabeco หลายเดือนก่อน

      Frequent urination is one of those strange, lesser-known symptoms that can pop up during the fight-or-flight response. When you're in a heightened state of anxiety, your body is preparing to either fight off a threat or run from it. One of the ways your body lightens the load, so to speak, is by emptying your bladder more frequently. It’s like your system is saying, “We need to be ready to move fast, no time to hold onto extra water!”
      It’s a quirky way that your body tries to help you in survival mode, even though there's no real danger. But it can be frustrating when you’re dealing with anxiety and suddenly find yourself running to the bathroom more often.

    • @mikeschiffmann3708
      @mikeschiffmann3708 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @aidabeco Never heard it explained that way but it makes soo much sense. Sometimes I will go a long time without peeing then bam I feel my anxiety and I start having frequency. I often wonder how do I have so much pee all of the sudden. Then sometimes it’s hard to pee. Just weird. I am trying to accept it more and more. It’s hard sometimes because it causes a fear response in my body. I will get through this eventually

      Sensations around the head can be tough to brush off since stakes seem so high. Anxiety loves to throw worst-case scenarios at us, yet our bodies can throw out weird sensations without any real threat. It’s a tough practice, I know. But doable. And worth doing.
