- This is the Tyranids campaign playthrough for Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2: Retribution with no commentary.
Playing on normal difficulty.
Graphics on ultra settings, loading times have been sped up to save time.
Using the 'Ridiculously Bloody Blood Pack' DLC.

I had no idea you could play as the Tyranids. This is awesome. I loved playing as the xenomorph in the Alien vs. Predator game series, and the tyranids remind me of them so much
They are based on him.
@@SUPEROGRE5000 This is Wrong. Tyranids first appearance in 1993 while Alien or Xenomorph in 1979.

TH-cam has decided to demonetize my channel, including all my videos. Their reasoning is because of 'reused' content'. My gaming videos are of my own recorded gameplay and I don't reuse my content. Since I can no longer monetize my videos, I will have to put my channel on pause. There won't be any new videos until I can get monetization back. I can try to reapply for monetization in mid Feb, but its no guarantee i will get monetization back and the review period is unknown.

Yeah, I guess the Tyranids had no other name to call themselves or they one of thier own and Everyone else in the galexy doesn't know, but now I guess they just mentally adapted the name now from consuming the people's memories.

The Tyranids' main strength is not their numbers or their ability to evolve, but the sheer number of laws of nature on which they have been given a pass.
Very nice you pick Tyranids and then Chaos Space Marines. Imperial Guard Campaign is over, now Tyranids Campaign turn. 4:17 I see SGT Merrick is dead for now.

So tell me, how does playing as the Tyranids feel, there more different in style then the other Campaigns, anyway keep doing a wonderful job.
Tyranids are different in terms that they only have 1 hero/champion unit. So its easier to manage.
However the tyranids 'army' units are pretty powerful, so you only need like 1 or 2 of each type. They also got abilities, so to me they feel like honor guards.
Tyranids are really fast too in terms of doing damage, I thought the Eldar were really fast, but the tyranids are even faster. I'll be using the hive lord as a range support, while the tyrant guard as a close range distraction for enemy units with its high health and the rest of my units are mostly range which will be suppressing the enemy and doing damage.
Indeed, I can see that, and how you use them, it will no doubt be really awesome and amazing :)

Me seeing tyranids is like someone seeing a t rex or the velociraptors in the first jurassic park movie lol (as in that's how awesome they look) also question will you be completing the secondary objectives in the campaign? Just wondering out of curiosity. Also did it feel like you were like a bunch of dinosaurs or xenomorphs hiding and hunting? Also have an awesome day.
Yeah it feels like you are commanding a army of 'advanced' dinosaurs or Xenomorphs. This campaign playthrough is already completed and I did focus on completing both the primary and secondary objectives for each mission. I have done all the campaign playthroughs for all the factions as well in this game if you are interested in watching any others.

can my 2017 hp screen touch laptop play this I am new to the game and like these guys is it easy to learn on this game or not just curious
Well it depends of your laptop specs. This game came out in 2011, so I assume a 2017 laptop should be able to run it. You can always check the game's system requirements to see if your laptop can run it.
The game is pretty easy to learn if you have played a RTS game before, for the campaign you would be controlling mostly 4 main heroes units with abilities and a few squads of units. For skirmish and multiplayer, you have a main base and have the full army selection at your disposal. The game is mostly played just using the mouse, keyboard is optional, but it helps with shortcuts, assigning groups or activating abilities etc.
The Tyranid voices in this campaign annoyed me so much I could just never get through it.
I liked it more than the Necron´s Voice during DoW 1.

They would absorb one another and cause eachother to evolve at such an extreme rate, that no matter which one emerges from the carcass of the other, they may well be totally unrecognizable from those that entered.
why do the tyranids refer to themselvesd as tyranids? i thoguht that was just a human name the humans gave them after they took their first planet
