I think it would be better to have a structure similar to yours covering ALL the raised beds. I have a couple of Qs: Q1: How high are the poles after they are rooted in the ground with concrete (i.e. how high is the net from the ground? Q2: Did you put wires crisscrossing on top of the shade cloth also or only under the shade cloth? I ask because here we sometimes get very strong winds and I am afraid the shade cloth may blow off the structure. Thanks!

Hi. Great to hear from you from Bangladesh. On the net, quite certainly that would depend on the weather patterns. We use the 40% in temperatures of around 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. Something in that range can do the job I gues.

A couple of questions, what diameter pipes and wire did you use? Are the plastic pieces over the top of the vertical poles just a plastic cap? Any additional suggestions you would change for a Windy area on the Southern Side of Haiti?
Its 5m. But if you use wooden ones which are thicker, you can increase the distance and use fewer poles. Or you can use steel with 2mm and above thickness

Good luck, just be mindful of air circulation and direction of your ridges. Try East West orientation to increase air flow

I think if it's windy you may need to make a more sturdy structure, because I think Haiti might have stronger winds.
