For me, I think that Niacinamide can be used with anything and is very unlikely to have any negative effects on the skin, but The Ordinary instructs not to use their niacinamide with vitamin C so I listen to them. Niacinamide is one of my favorite ingredients and I pair it with everything too, especially with my retinoids, as it helps the skin tolerate them better. In short, I agree with you in every point.

I must start by saying that I have not tried Muti skincare myself, so I can only talk about them in theory, it might be that I would come to a different conclusion after trying their products. After looking at their products and ingredient lists on the website, I don´t really think they use that many essential oils, at least not compared to brands like Elemis, and they have products that contain no essential oils at all. I am not against essential oils and fragrance in general, I think it is fine to use for many people, but essential oils have a high potential for allergic reactions in some. If you want them in your routine or not is a personal decision, they usually have no skincare benefits other than aromatherapy. What makes me hesitant to buy the brand though is that I think they are pretty expensive for what they sell: Their hydrating serum for example is a (nice) blend of humectants, but I can get that for 7 € at The Inkey List, while they charge 70 €. Again, the texture may be marvelous, I can´t tell, but that seems to be a little much. And the Retinol and Vitamin C they advertise on their website are Retinylpalmitate and a Vitamin C Ester, both far less effective than actual Retinol and Ascorbic Acid, so I wouldn´t be willing to shell out a lot of money on these either.Have you tried them? How did you like them?
Doctor Anne yes, I bought day anti- aging cream- honestly I do not like texture- too thick for me on daytime and I think for price - not so ok... and I ask some clarifications from brand on product they never come back to me. I do not like such communication style- no more Muti ffor me:)

I was waiting for this video🙂
I hope it didn’t disappoint! Part two and three are coming in the next two weeks.
@@DoctorAnne absolutely not. It was informative. Im waiting for the continuation :) probably in more details?
Thank you
The next videos will go in more detail for retinoids and for Vitamin C. Anything else you would want more details on? I can film as many sequels as necessary 😄
@@DoctorAnne sure that's awesome....
Maybe you could include the mix of some actives with vit c & retinols.
Thanks so much🤗
@@Niki-81811 I think the next videos will answer these questions, I go through retinoids and different actives in one video and Vitamin C and different actives in the other. Should you still need more specifics afterwards, just drop me a line!
I use tretinoin in my night time routine after the ordinary Buffet and Niacinamide, do you think I should use my tretinoin first or after the 2 serums
If it works for you that way, keep doing it. Using it first will increase the effects, but also the risk of irritation.
Can i use aha bha for cleaning and toner and niacinamide as moisturizer?
Yes, you can. To get that right: You want to use an AHA cleanser, a BHA toner and then a Niacinamide moisturizer?
@@DoctorAnne yes in that order
That sounds like a lot of exfoliation to me, especially when using it daily, but yes, it would work.
Peptides canNOT be combined with low ph acids
That is why I say that you should wait in between products and not mix them in your hand. Your skin in itself has a slightly acidic pH.

Dear Doctor- what you think about german brand Muti? Do you think that they use so much essential oils in their creams is ok?
@@sipoli100 Where are you from that you even considered Muti? I haven´t seen the brand around much on social media, I would love to know how you discovered them.
Doctor Anne I live in Germany because of my work/ and I desperetly needed some good moisturoizer- natural/ eco friendly as per preference no parfum.. so I discover them- and they were as well in Sephora... in reality there are quite a lot german brands around- I was quite suprised - like dr. DR. SUSANNE VON SCHMIEDEBERG- never heard of her before - but she has huge line and of course famous ones Dr. Barbara Sturm and augustinus bader and than a lot pharmatucial skin care as well . So in germany skin care are top noch
@@sipoli100 German skincare is top notch, but neither Dr. Barbara Sturm not Dr. von Schmiedeberg are the ones that I would recommend. Have you looked at Alverde at DM? They do have nice stuff. Where in Germany do you live?
